At time of writing like a few others I wasnt sure if it was mandatory or advisory to close shops. As Sunak's speech come it's a lot more clear that it is mandatory

No - Payment on account in July. That's a relief for me. Also means we can keep our staff on for the long term. Worried we were going to run out of cash in a few months and be forced to lay them off as we have almost no work coming in.

It is extraordinary and frankly no one can really criticise them for what they have just done.

What I do know is that I will need invaluable RAWK advice next week on benefits etc as neither me or my wife have ever claimed

One of the things that I really hope comes out of this shitshow in the end, globally, is a massive shift in socio-political climates, where left and right are meaningless - as is poverty and hunger but hey I can dream.......I'm sure I'm not the only one........

Entire systems need to change after this - recovery to the previous status quo is hopefully something that the planet will have no desire to return to.
