Not sure Origi was injured, he didn't go down the tunnel but sat on the bench. Doubtless, Jurgen will tell us.

Ice pack on his thigh after he was subbed.  He was pointing to his leg when he spoke with Klopp when he walked off.

Moyes was never going to attack.

Comfortable.
Yeah, said at half time he'd take his 2-0 and that would be that.

70 points before the end of January is fucking insane!

For context United won with 75 points in 1997 and their treble winners got 79  points in 1999.....

70 points after 24 games is an absolutely unbelievable haul. This is a team of absolute giants. Made that look completely routine.

Not that it made any difference to the outcome of the match whatsoever, but I'd have been a bit pissed off as a Hammers fan for a few of those decisions not going their way. If it winds up a few Mancs though I'll take it!! :wave

This team is so special and it is a privilege to be living in times when we are so good again. We machine keeps on rolling baby. I am beginning to think that Virgil is a football cyborg does the man even sweat or anything? I keep worrying that this is a dream and I will wake up to a nightmare.   Long may our team grow and dominate the game we call football.

8 more wins.

Eight.

Savor these moments, lads. Keep them close to your heart and don't let them fade away. Eight more wins.

I can't believe it's finally happening, I have butterflies in my stomach thinking about the final whistle in the game that confirms it.

Ps. Does anyone remember what it feels like to lose a game of football?

We're even winning the 'Goal Difference Trophy' now we've played as many games as Abu Dhabi.

Remember a few weeks ago when they crept ahead on of our GD and all of a sudden the narrative was that goals scored was the benchmark and not actually points.  :rollseyes

Another random thing, and commented after other games, but do love the players coming off the pitch and thinking about how to improve. Listening to Ox here saying where he felt they'd struggled in the first half and what they need to improve on. Bloody impressive to get them all working towards that on their own.

Quite enjoyed that 2nd half. A bit end to end for a while. Thought West Ham played alright but most of their best chances come from our mistakes.

In the end though very comfortable. Alisson was superb when called upon again. Good to see Keita back and Jones get some minutes.

We’ve lost one league game in two seasons, reached two Champions League finals, winning one, and are also now the World Champions.

This team is every bit as good as Guardiola’s best Barcelona team and unlike last season, our lads balls deep know it.

Enjoy it. It’s happening.
