Yet wouldn't have lost if the deliberate knock on that prevented a try was properly given...
Wales last try looked a knock on against a french hand before regathering.

Yes, and if the French try in the first half had not been ruled out....

If, but, what about....

Best team won.

Good game for the neutral that was. Dan Biggar is a real knobhead though.

Not denying that France were the better team but there's a huge difference with getting to 27-23 with 15 minutes to go than with 5 minutes to go, especially with France down to 14. It was a huge mistake which changed the whole complexion of the game at that point.

Looking forward to this game from HQ.

Think whichever pack gains the upper hand will determine the outcome - and they are two powerful and mobile units. There is likely to be a lot of tactical kicking too.

Too close to call (so expect a big points win from one of them🙄)

Worst to lose to in order:

Wales

Ireland

Scotland

France

Excuse me, bit of respect, I went to the warm-up in September in Twickenham.
Though I honestly feel this could get really out of hand and England might hit 50 again.

Well, that was atrocious. I wish Toner would just fuck off, he was never that good, now he is barely mobile. Sexton, overrated, cost 10 points with a brainless bit of defending and a a missed easy chance. Murray is a shadow of his former self. Pack looks awful and old. Really miss Leavy. Farrell has got this all wrong.

They beat Wales with a BP last time, so I think he's OK.

His problem was picking Murray vs Scotland. Keeping him and Sexton meant that our game plan was always going to be the same. Giving Cooney the first two games would have given us the chance to play differently.
We can't come from behind against teams, and now it's going to be damage limitation. Very unfair to throw Cooney on now and expecting him to return it around.

Well, that was atrocious. I wish Toner would just fuck off, he was never that good, now he is barely mobile.
Front 5 are getting killed. But Henderson was poor first two games so I don't think him over Toner would change anything. We're really threadbare in the front row.

Peyper is fucking useless. Farrell deserved a yellow, yet it was the TMO who called it and not him who was a yard away.
Three more pens from England and no warning either.

But we needed that start to the half. Sexton shouldn't kick any more.

Would have liked at least a look at the late tackle on May too guv.

A bonus point could be useful here although based on this it’s hard not to see France completing the Slam.

All Ireland at the end. If it went on for another 10 minutes we would have won it  :P

I was expecting an England win beforehand, so on paper 24-12 doesn't look that bad but we were piss-poor for most of the game.

His problem was picking Murray vs Scotland. Keeping him and Sexton meant that our game plan was always going to be the same.

First of all great credit to England. Great performance and clearly well coached on how to beat Ireland. The upper hand has returned based on the last three games. Lots of top physical players in their prime and no doubt it will be France v England fighting for the 6 nations for the foreseeable future.

Ireland will be back but we only if we do a reboot. Plenty of quality coming through, players that deserve their chance in the way Gatland had the foresight to do many years ago. Accept a couple of tough six nations to allow for future success.
Cooney is 29 years old. He is better than Murray at this moment in time and deserves a chance in the now, however there are some great scrum half coming through and need to be fast-tracked.
France have the balls to rewrite the script.
Murray, Sexton, Toner, Healy, O'Mahony all need to be replaced. Furlong's form is very worrying but he has plenty of years ahead of him. Tough calls need to be made yet the appointment of Sexton as team captain is a pretty bad start. A new management team was needed yet we appointed from within Schmidt's back room.
It’s easy to believe when it’s going well.

It could happen but I really don’t see anyone dominating for the next few years. We certainly need to make changes quicker and  play form players. I think it’s one of the few downsides of our system here with centralised contracts.

We don't really see out and out domination in the Six Nations anyway. We've only seen teams win it back to back in the 20 years it's existed, no hat-tricks.

I'd say Ireland need to take their lumps for a bit and completely rip it up. What's the incentive not to? The team has gone over the top, they were found wanting in Japan and have an aging core that are going one way. May as well work towards a longer term goal than stumble on.
