I don't think you can just walk into that type of game with barely any idea of the level of passion it generates and be guaranteed to cope with it, and Everton may be a different beast by then. They'd love to rough him up a bit - just let him experience it from the stands.

Well, we'll just have to do with another Lucas then... Gerrard subbed, Lucas walks in- unawares of what's happening and proceeds with a calm head and we end up winning.
By all accounts- and stats that back it up- he's a workhorse in the Kuyt/Firmino mold. Hell he averages 12km per game. That's Lucas/Kuyt/Firmino levels of lung-busting insanity and that's what games like these are characterized by.
