Still annoyed at that dreadful tackle from behind on Salah. How on earth did VAR not review that and decide that it was dangerous. Any tackle from behind when a player is running at speed is dangerous and can result in injury. It was cynical and dangerous and there was no attempt to do anything other than to bring Salah down.

We looked a bit goosed at 75 mins but we controlled them for the most part.

They got away with many physical challenges.

Mentality monsters.

Lovren, Mane and Fab stood out for me.

We did.

We weren’t as aggressive as we usually were but a mixture of the right finish and the fight final pass stopped that from being about 3-0 before Maddison scores. As Leicester have such good players you’re always on edge at 1-0 and so it proved.

Think our front 3 are a touch out of sorts as a combined 3 currently, which happens. I know that sounds mad when Mane and Salah have both scored 2 in 2 games but I think as a combined 3 the passes are a little off at the moment. Luckily we know they’re all fucking boss and it won’t be long before they’re firing on all cylinders.

Look at the number of fouls on Salah and to a lesser extent on Mane today. None were called as Salah stayed on his feet. If he goes down then the whole world starts yapping about him diving. Well for me if you have to dive to show the blind officials that you were fouled then so be it. VAR can over-turn it if a player does dive and then it should be at least a yellow for diving. Every defender now has a hold of Salah either by the arm or even around his neck and it's time the referees see this and start giving yellow cards if it is persistent.

Have a look at the stats we had about 8 shots on target to their 1. We fully deserved the victory the ref kept them in it thanks to his crazy decisions, giving free kicks each time their players fell over. A completely crazy performance by the officials.

We weren't sharp enough up front today otherwise we would have scored 2 or 3. Bossed the game though till the last 20 mins when a few of our players looked a bit tired.
