The British press would be photoshopping his head to look like schitzel if he didn't win every game 7-0.

It's there to remind our lads who they're playing for and to remind the opposition who they're playing against!

Imagine if we'd have signed him.

Bet De Bruyne would have loved to play for someone like Jurgen.

They've omitted some other parts of the full quote, I think he'll be back managing next season.

"Let's see what it will look like in a few months. Nothing is coming through at the moment," he said.

"As of today, that's it for me as a coach. I didn't quit on a whim, it was a general decision.

"I've also coached the best clubs in the world. Maybe we can talk about it again in a few months.

"I still want to work in football and help people with my experience and contacts. Let's see what else there is for me."
Sit down, shock is better taken with bent knees.

I saw quotes today from which I inferred that he doesn't want a full-time coaching job and, at the moment, not even a national team.
Ah, see above.

Yeah he will definitely be back. He will get bored with holidaying and he is a people person, a technical role doesn't work for him.

Yeah, he hasn't said anything we didn't really know already. His answer (in what seems to have been a German interview/talk) was "If I had to decide today whether I will ever coach a team again "Yes" or "No", my decision would be "No". Thankfully, I don't have to make that decision today. So, let's see what it'll be like in a few months".

that’s a perfect example of ‘engagement farming’ by ESPN on Twitter!

Loads of snippets from quotes, from a coaching conference he was at, stuck together. The bit about the ‘best clubs’ was his answer to being asked if he’d coach Bayern, and his response was he already had coached the best clubs in the world  :P

He added that, after saying that he has already coached the best clubs in the world, the likelihood of Bayern offering him a job has decreased significantly. However, he also kept the door slightly open in a joking way by adding, that he might have to see for himself, if Bayern might not be one of the best clubs as well. It does feel though like he's happy with how things are going right now and he might not come back.

Shows how in need of a good rest he is. He might change tact in a year or two or he might enjoy a long retirement and not need the hassle. I think he's done with club football anyway as a manager.

He's not a Hodgson or Allardyce who can't turn down a dollar so keep coming back.

Personally don’t want to see Klopp managing another club side. Couldn’t deal with seeing him create a bond with another set of fans. Like seeing your missus with another bloke. Germany job would be fine.

I understand your thoughts, I can’t argue I feel much different. But for Klopp and his family, whatever he feels he needs, I’d support him with.

He gave us his all, and what a lovely chapter in our history he did give us. Would I feel jealous if he took another coaching / managing job in football? Hell yes - but if it’s what Jurgen wants, he gets my emphatic support. He’s earned that.

From the report in The Times, it sounds as if he fancies a job other than management after his sabbatical. Come on, FSG, you can make something happen.

I thought the same with Rafa, wouldn't want to see another set of fans being devoted to him as he was 'our guy'. But Newcastle fans loved him, and I was delighted to see it and all for seeing him do well there.

He would certainly give that extra push for players we want to sign. We're a massive club and loads of players would want to play for us, but it doesn`t half help if Jurgen Klopp is selling it to you.

Imagine the state of Andy if that were to happen.

I want him managing our youth teams.
