So many amazing options:

Austin vs Punk
Vader vs Lesnar
Bryan vs Michaels
Angle vs Macho
Perfect vs Styles

You can mix and match all of the above.

You could do an interesting angle between Booker T and Triple H, include Flair in there ringside as well.

Have Booker booked as the underdog, play on his upbringing and his past with heavy hints towards his race, then the two rich white men squash him anyway.

Yes, Vader vs Lesnar would be one I'd like to see, I'd add that to my PPV.

I remember watching a mid-90s(?) match between the two and being surprised that Michaels was bigger than Macho.  Just shows how Macho was really larger than life in everything he did.

I think that was 92 or 93 in the UK?

Yeah, HBK was not naturally buffed up, let's just say :D

Wasn't this is his early 90s heel run where he was about 240 and gassed up to his eyeballs? Never suited him. He's deceptively tall thought isn't he? 6'1 maybe? And you'd assume he's under 6, maybe I'm wrong.

Shawn was fairly brawny when he was in the Rockers, wasn't he? I don't think he slimmed down until he was on the coke and painkiller diet toward the middle of the 90's.

AEW midcard title announced -  the TNT championship. 8 wrestlers to compete, the first 4 announced on Dark (so sometime between midnight and 1am tonight) and the other 4 announced on Dynamite this week.

Tony Schiavone said "a new champion for a new league", so presumably there'll be some sort of qualifying criteria (usually weight but who knows) for the 'league' to prevent the criticism of asking why guys who are nowhere near the top of the rankings are competing for a belt.

Got to give WWE credit, their on the fly booking for Mania is absolutely bonkers. Austin Theory replacing Andrade in the tag title match because... why not! And he's getting loads of flak online for failing to catch one of the Street Profits on Raw last night when he leapt over the top rope.

Mania will probably be a train wreck, but it'll certainly be remembered. I'm completely fine with it going ahead, vast majority of matches are uninspiring and who really cares if they're without a crowd. Only ones I wish they pulled were Edge/Orton and Brock/Drew. First has been a brilliant feud and deserves a crowd, and if Drew's going over Brock then you'd want to see him with the fans cheering. Zayn/Bryan could have been a great Mania match if given time too.

I put HBK vs The Rock on my PPV as I think that would have been great to see, even as a one off.

From what I've gathered, The Rock had no interest in ever working with Michaels allegedly due to HBK disrespecting The Rock's grandmother one time or something along those lines?

The Rock vs Macho Man is another one I'd have liked to have seen and there's an interview somewhere around 2000/01 where Savage shows interest in coming back to the WWF and he speaks positively about The Rock.. alas it was not meant to be.

Shawn and HHH were always jealous of Rock and Austin and tried to sabotage their pushes (rock at Mania 15) not t mention HBK was a jerk to Rock’s grandma so The Rock never wanted to work with him

Then weirdly enough, at the HOF 2008 Rock named HBK as the one man he would have loved to wrestle (rumour was HBK apologised and made up with Rock’s grandma, he was sat with her during the HOF speech)

My dream card of matches that never happened

The Rock vs Shawn Michaels - WWE world heavyweight championship

Steve Austin vs Hulk Hogan - icon vs icon 2

Bret Hart vs Chris Jericho - Submission match

The Undertaker vs Sting

Ric Flair vs The Ultimate warrior (I know they wrestled on House show, but damn can’t believe these two didn’t have a proper televised match)

John Cena vs Goldberg

Randy Savage vs Kurt Angle

Daniel Bryan vs Chris Benoit

Winners in bold

This is going to be an absolute shitshow. I know people are self-isolating but what, they couldn't even put music behind a pre-recorded promo they did in the back? Looks cheap and indie as hell. Undertaker's wife? Why?

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/Re4nmf-a1S4" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" class="bbc_link bbc_flash_disabled new_win">https://www.youtube.com/v/Re4nmf-a1S4</a>

There are a few interesting looking matches (Rollins/Owens, Zayn/Bryan, Lynch/Baszler, the Firefly Funhouse match) but this might be the first Wrestlemania in years I don't even tune in for and I honestly can't understand why they haven't postponed. The results will probably be leaked out before the weekend either way. Some of the promos have been very good this year, but taking away the advantage of the big arenas and crowds has put WWE on the same footing as AEW the past two or three weeks and it really hasn't come out well.

First half of AEW's TNT title tournament brackets have been revealed:

Shawn Spears vs Cody

Sammy Guevara vs Darby Allin

A few people thought they'd push both Sammy/Darby to the final after their excellent match at the last PPV but it's a QF match. Somewhat surprised to see Cody there as it seems a midcard title is 'beneath' him but he is banned from competing for the main belt so it makes sense. Plus he had that very brief thing with Spears last summer.

You could make a decent semi from almost any pair (the only one I don't think we'll see is Spears/Guevara both through).

The final match is at the Double or Nothing PPV, and we'll find out the other 4 guy on Dynamite later tonight/tomorrow if you're downloading/Saturday if you watch the cropped broadcast on ITV.

So this is their Intercontinental Title?

I suppose so, though I expect there to be some qualifying criteria to explain why guys who are nowhere near the ranked top 5 are challenging for a title. Schiavone said in the announcement it was a 'new title for a new league'. Cody and Spears aren't particularly 'lightweight' for AEW so I'm not sure what they'll go with.

None of that stuff ever mattered, it was just pandering
