Leicester. Due for an away start but who knows as it doesn't alternate with our neighbours any more.

CITY AT HOME PLEASE
WHAT A TIME TO BE ALIVE!

Normally a player can look great on tubes, but one of the things that's encouraging for me is just the amount of youtube videos on him

Nice easy comfortable start.

Brighton / West Ham / Bournemouth / Palace at home.

Don't think it will be that because of last year's start.

Ideally, I would like a few midtable teams to start with. It would give us time to ease the AFCON and Copa America lads back in.

Top four sides aren't scheduled to play on opening day of the season. There was in depth article about the way scheduling is made last summer and it's consistent with that has occurred in recent seasons.

Just seen an apparent leak photo of 1st round of fixtures. We’re away to Burnley on the Saturday 5.30pm ko showing on BT sport.

City away to Wolves on Monday night on MNF.
Has Steven Gerrard scored a goal even more important than the one he got against Olympiakos - Is this the start of something BIG?

Dont BT only have Saturday 12.30pm matches from next season, SKY have the 5.30pm matches?

Thought it was odd that we were home for both the first and last match of the last season. Can't imagine that will be repeated.

Think we'll be away first, but I'd like the easiest home game possible first. Any win will do from that if we're not at our strongest and have a trip to Istanbul in the week. The promoted 3 are obvious choices but given it's their first game in X amount of years they'll have an added motivation. I'd like someone like Bournemouth, who we've had few problems with in the past and play into our hands. I reckon we'll get Villa away first.

Zero chance that is true. Broadcasters don't select the games until after the fixtures are announced. If it was before, shit loads of people would know and it would leak everywhere.
