Top four sides aren't scheduled to play on opening day of the season. There was in depth article about the way scheduling is made last summer and it's consistent with that has occurred in recent seasons.

Just seen an apparent leak photo of 1st round of fixtures. We’re away to Burnley on the Saturday 5.30pm ko showing on BT sport.

City away to Wolves on Monday night on MNF.

Thought it was odd that we were home for both the first and last match of the last season. Can't imagine that will be repeated.

Think we'll be away first, but I'd like the easiest home game possible first. Any win will do from that if we're not at our strongest and have a trip to Istanbul in the week. The promoted 3 are obvious choices but given it's their first game in X amount of years they'll have an added motivation. I'd like someone like Bournemouth, who we've had few problems with in the past and play into our hands. I reckon we'll get Villa away first.

32 matches on Saturdays at 12:30

Package B, C, D & E - Sky Sports

32 matches on Saturdays at 17:30
32 matches on Sundays at 14:00
8 matches on Saturdays at 19:45
32 matches on Sundays at 16:30
24 matches on Mondays at 20:00 or Fridays at 19:30/20:00

Zero chance that is true. Broadcasters don't select the games until after the fixtures are announced. If it was before, shit loads of people would know and it would leak everywhere.
