was at one of the Dutch u17 games in the eurod last month as it was literally on next door to me, they had an animal ofa striker brobery I think he was called, wouldn't be surprised if he made the step up in the few years.

Brian Brobbey? Seems to be generating some attention from his youth team numbers at Ajax. Scored 26 in 24 U17 games then stepped up to the U19s and scored 34 in 36

Winjaldum isn't getting booed is he? Actually met a few in Porto as I am here after being in Madrid, some look like they just come out of prison!

Gini's low key, and generally un-appreciated outside of Liverpool and the Netherlands!  Those idiots wouldn't appreciate how good he is. But they know that Virgil is the best, and he plays for the team they hate. There is no logic to their stupidity though of course!

Only basing off the CL semis and this game so far, but De Light looks ropey against pace.

Don't think that was as bad a tackle as Neville is making out, just came together in the air and landed awkwardly. Was a foul and not much more

Frenkie De Jong looks the part, he really does. But yeah, so far from limited viewing De Ligt is looking a bit ropey at the moment!

Gini's having a good game in that midfield too, he's all over the pitch.

Feel bad for Van Dijk, Gini and even good players like F. De Jong or De Ligt: it seems they're stuck with an unadulterated shite player like Depay up top.

I can understand if it was was Everton, United or desperate city fans. But why would Burnely, Portsmouth or Brentford fans want to boo Virgil? Makes no sense. Thankfully, it also confirms that no Liverpool fans support England and are at the game.

I've seen flags with Shrewsbury Town, Torquay United amongst others ffs.  :o

I don't really get why you're surprised. A lot of the England support has always come from the lower division teams. They are also the ones who probably see less foreign players, so they don't get the attachment that we get with them.

Robin Bairner: No Liverpool move for Memphis Depay, according to L'Equipe. Everton more interested but not prestigious enough for him. Could stay in Lyon as a result.

I’ve watched De Light quite closely in the last few months and I would say there is probably only Delli Alli that touches him in the ‘worlds most over rated player’ category.

Also,  but with Big V and Gini out there playing against a Man City/Leicester combined 11, I am the only one that is finding themselves quietly cheering on the Dutch?!

That's what i feel too, he seems a bit careless and he may struggle in the PL. Still a very good young player but not for that crazy amount that's being talked about.

So have other young footballers though, for the amount of money he will cost this summer I think there is better value out there.

Exactly, when you think of how good Gomez looked with Van Dijk earlier on I see nothing that would make me take the leap for him.
