its absolutely not.  It's an inconvenience. as is the CWC to a lesser extent.

Definitely not. I suppose the Club World Cup could potentially become a major trophy in time, if the whole tournament thing takes off, and is taken seriously.

The Super Cup is basically the European equivalent of the Charity Shield, and there's no way we'd count the Charity Shield as a major trophy.

Players might include them in their individual honours lists, however.

The super cup is listed on the Champions Wall, and the Walk of Champions in the tunnel. The charity shield is not.

Although I dont think I have ever watched a super cup when we were not in it.

The super cup is a competitive match and major trophy, as a club we should be taking these trophies seriously

Yes it is because it’s a major trophy, the CWC (should we win it) would be added to the wall too. The charity shield isn’t a major trophy as the game is actually a friendly but it is still counted in the overall club honours

the club should yes,  but people seem shocked that many might not travel, this should give you some indication of what regards this trophy is held in.  It's not something in general many fans are arsed about hence the lack of interest. given that the winners don't progress to the CWC then its prestige becomes even less.

Yes but as fans we should be taking these trophies in high regard, it’s not all about travelling general attitude to them counts as well

Badly want us to win the CWC this year as it’s one we’ve not won. Would be more happy with this trophy than the league cup haha

Of course they are major trophies, to play in the CWC you have to win he european cup and to play in the super cup you have to win the CL or europa

Success brings more success now they may not be as important as others but we’d have given our balls to be in this situation last season strong Sides and win the lot I say

Nice little treble by Christmas
In sunny Spain , we won it six times  🇪🇸

Would love us to win the club world cup. That nice shiney gold badge would look well on the kit and overhauling the mancs trophy haul is always good. We were robbed in the last one time for a bit of payback.

Never understand why anyone wouldn't want us to win a trophy. Winning finals is a habit, no such thing as a friendly when these trophies are at stake.

Yeah, I'm sure this team will win many more trophies with Klopp and beyond and doing so increases the hunger for more.

Very unfair that the second sale is for six games, plus the Champions League final.

Think they should have just done 7 matches and then 6 myself and balloted the sixes

They must be expecting demand to be low

The only thing is UEFA ballot closes on Tuesday. I hope any lfc fans who qualify for this buy from club and don’t buy their UEFA tickets. Results of ballot should be out after all lfc tickets are sold

I sort of get the logic if we ignore the implications - it's a game you only get into by winning that single final game.

From what I see. All the ballot ppl who didn’t get Madrid are excluded straight away.  Loads will forget to apply for a visa also.  We got 3 tickets more than Chelsea

Since when have Finals counted for loyalty?! ::) Hope it drops so people aren't disappointed. I reckon that a lot (like us) will forego this and save our money for CL games as something has to give  :-\

I presume the logic is the only way to enter this competition is by winning either the CL or EL final so that’s the pre req.

The club just don’t care mate! Not bothered to take into consideration the other 20,000+ that would’ve gone to Madrid if it wasn’t for the poor allocation.

No surprise though!!
