Spurs lose, United win but outplayed for large periods.

Perfect scenario surely?

Yup

Plus a potential Kane injury

If Spurs lose, they are going to have to win 3 games and hope we lose 3 in the corresponding fixtures for the week. One of those might be against us, but which other 2 fixtures, would we lose? and if it comes to that point,  which 2 fixtures would city lose?

Hopefully their incentive to perform against us also diminishes if other prizea shine brighter by then, they are better away than at home.

Soon to lose Son also

Well that’s spurs done...

They were unlucky of course, had more than enough chances to equalise and even win it.

Manchester United were good in the first half but not good in the second half.  Can’t help but feel that they’re still a limited side.

Hold on, isn't it better if Spurs lose here? Who gives a flying fuck about United and OGS? SPurs are now 9 points back and 16 goals off in GD.

Absolutely

Not that they were a particular threat anyway but creates another nice little gap.

We'll have to ignore the media w*nkfest for awhile over United but its great result for us. Spurs effectively out of the title race and chances of Gollum being there next season increased.  :)

They'll win a few in a row now since the pressure is off.

They were robbed blind

The game is about putting the ball in the back of the net, they should have finished better. Too many times they fired straight at De Gea enabling him to make those saves.

Absolutely. They created loads of clear chances and finished appallingly. I would be furious at our lads if they did that.

They are limited true, but they're winning their games. The longer it lasts the more they'll grow in confidence. Really important we reverse our recent Old Trafford form, what could be better than beating United onto the way to winning the league.

Enjoyed that.

Spurs don’t have the squad to compete for the trophies they’re still in, and will ultimately suffer. They were far better than Utd. in overall play today, but too many key players look just a little jaded. Lamela and Trippier aren’t good enough to be honest, at the highest level, nor is Winks. The same can be said for Utd. with Young, Jones and Shaw getting starts.

The good thing to come out of this match isn’t necessarily Spurs dropping 3 points - I didn’t really consider them challengers for the reasons given. The bonus is how much more difficult it will be for Utd. to look beyond OGS come the summer, if this carries on.

Not quite. It would be nice if they could show up for the Manchester derby and have De Gea pull another one out of his arse. And it's at the Toilet too.

There's about five six games before we play them, they aren't winning all of their games up until then. Confidence can only get you so far.

I don't think we can rely on that to be honest. The teams outside the usual top four are teams that, that United team should be beating in any normal year.

How the fuck can someone get paid to say this shit?  It’s a new Manchester United and it’s also an amazing performance by De Gea that got them the 3 points.  One doesn’t go with the other, so which one is it?  Fucking just give some asshole off the street the mic to spew random gibberish.  I actually work for my money which is a fraction of what these people get paid by knowing what I’m doing.  Such bullshit.
