I was expecting this to be a bit of a tricky game considering Bournemouth's form this season. Probably the easiest we've had since West Ham on the opening day.

same here actually. they have always been a tough team to play against. but their form have been poor for the last 5-10 games.

the way we dispatching teams is really pleasing.

really impressed with fabinho. good first touch and seem to be playing the game 2-3 passes ahead. his pass to robbo for the 3rd was beautifully weighted.

Fabinho was fucking brilliant today. Great result, we just seemed faster with the ball, passes crisp and great runs. Think a lot was a decent slippy pitch and a side who wanted to attack us

A lot of forwards will look at those as an opportunity to stick one on the keeper, even if they don't win the ball.
No striker will want to go next or near to him in the future as they'll end up in a heap.
He does look like a giant highlighter marker in that kit though.

Nice to get the win in the early game and it's over to City for tonight's El Plastico.

Great performance, mature, controlled and nice to see what a midfield of Fab and Naby could look like in the second half of the season - definitely something which will become more and more regular.

You can bet your last fucking dime that Alisson can dunk! That was some leap. He's a handsome bastard and I'd leave my wife for him. I don't actually have a wife, but you know...


It's coming together a bit, isn't it? We seem to be just doing enough to win, but even with that said we scored 4 and you felt we had two more gears to find if we needed to. Fabinho is looking better as he gets more games; he is guilty of letting players drift behind him and better quality of players would cause more damage, but on the whole he's really bedding in now. Van Dijk was imperious, Shaqiri really is our trump card and Keita played within himself but I'm just very happy he's getting some minutes now. Robertson had a poor first half but bounced right back in the second, Milner slotted into right back with ease.

Oh, and saving the best until last. Mo fucking Salah. What more can you say about him?

I was in a crowded pub and couldnt hear any commentary; be thankful for small mercies. I'll never forget when Benteke scored that worldie against the Mancs to make it 2-1; Tyler barely acknowledged the goal. Then when Martial scored, he actually roared YESSSSSS! Biased wanker.

We were outstanding today. In the last three aways, we have been happy to keep the ball and force the home side to work very hard to keep it at 0-0; Mo's goal in the first half was a bonus. In the second half, they inevitably get tired and leave space. Result: 9 goals in the three second halves.
