Was number 7,000 odd in the queue.  Event listed as sold out when I got in. 

Is the position in the queue completely randomised, as I've never had anything near a decent number?

Pretty frustrating the 'choose seat for me' never seems to do anything

It does when there're seats available.
I usually refresh the page until the "Choose Seat For Me" becomes available and then just click on it as fast as I can until it finds me a seat and gets me to the payment page.

It depends. If it's a STH / Member return it won't let you. If it's the first time the seat has been sold then it will.

If the game was sold out before, I imagine all tickets will be returns, or am I missing something…

The restricted views should be first time buy. The rest should be returns you'd think. maybe they are hospo tickets

Finally got on the forum after months of registering and getting Database error all the time !

I managed to get in this morning for the LA for Southampton with (what I thought was a good time)... had 12 mins and queue position was about 1300ish...

When I got on there were a lot of orange blocks around the ground but all of them were singles. I have to get 2 together as I go with my 8 year old daughter, and there were none together when I got in. May have been some before my queue but i suppose will never know.

Anyone think there will be any further drops this week and is it worth doing the usual F5'ing? Im going to need 2 seats together though and that never happened for this morning's sale...

you've a very very slim chance of getting two in the late sales unless you get in instantly. Even then its unlikely

there's always a few pairs that drop through the week but you just have to be quick, definitely keep an eye out for the Leicester league cup game you should get a pair for that

Cheers mate, I managed to get them okay in LA sales in season's past for me and the wife. Never went at all like everyone else 2020/2021 season due to COVID but seasons before I got them okay. This was my first LA try since the start of this season and only found singles. Hopefully get better queue positions then next time !

LA has been so much easier this year. I used to spend days f5ing. Now its a few mins effort usually

Got unsuccessful in both ballots so far this season, and missed out on all games for the first half of this season too. Managed to grab in the unsuccessful ballot sale for the second half last week so got Watford and West Ham for me and my daughter but will give it a good go in the LA's for future games

hospo returns usually have pairs and they drop Friday afternoon usually but yeah just keep an eye all week and you might be lucky enough

I always keep refreshing the stadium plan page. Normally small drops that go within seconds won't be available through doing the 'buy tickets' thing as it will probably still say sold out

Yeah its no problem though as whenever any ticket comes available youll see the whole stadium

Correct. Pain in the arse that. And it doesn't disappear automatically when seats become available either.
