We only turned up for 20 minutes in that half.. but what a fucking 20 minutes..

Henderson dragged us back.. He got the old engine running in Midfield after 25 minutes.. And once we started dominating the midfield.. it was only a matter time..

Great half. Once the initial shock of losing Ox had subsided, absolutely took over. Could be over already if Mane has his shooting boots on! All played their part but Gini very good since coming on, Mane excellent bar the finishing. Salah out of this world. Important we keep dominating and grab more goals, no let up, don’t give them any hope

Also Roma have gotten caught a few times with the ball over the top against a high line and their far post marking at set-pieces, it's been some great passes played in by the likes of Robertson.

Looks like Mané is having one of those days but he's getting into the positions he needs to.

We have played some fantastic football, got a tad lucky with the shot that Karius "tipped" only the bar (I guess technically it's a save) 😁

What more can you say about Mo that hasn't been said before, the man is a football genious, so lucky to have him.

Keep up our concentration at the other end and we'll definitely score again. Brilliant lads, sheer brilliance

wow, 1st goal was inch perfect. Thought Roma played well until then, both in attack and defence. They dominated our midfield. Until we decided to bypass the midfield. Brilliant. their gameplan is in tatters...

I've had knocks to the knee leaving me feeling like that, though, and it was a heavy, heavy knock in a challenge. He might have a badly bruised bone, well I hope so rather than it having done something to a ligament.

I am shacking here. we were really under the pump for the first 20 mins. I hope the Ox is OK. Since the 20th min we have been amazing. Sadio had 2 really good chances to score but a mark of this team is that they keep going and boy that Salah is some player/ Amazing. King Kenny celebrating his goal was such a nice moment.

Holy fucking shit! When we're good we're REALLY FUCKING GOOD. Mo and Bobby have been absolutely amazing. I hope Ox is ok, but fear that's it for him for the season going by his reaction and the pain that he was in. Need to keep the intensity for the second half now and try to kill the tie off.

Don’t concede in this half and we’re in a very strong position. Roma really weren’t that bad at all for a lot of that. It’s a case of whether or not they can recover.

The Ox injury looks like it's either a really fucking sore one that'd keep him out for a week or so, or a horrible one that'll rule him out of the rest of the season and the world cup. Fingers crossed for the former...

It did work at the beginning of the game.

They were putting pressure on our midfield and defence in our own half, and Liverpool looked unsettled.
But they weathered the storm, and adapted to it.

Puts Roma in a difficult spot with their tactis now - if they try to press high up, we've shown we'll bypass them and go over the top.
But if they drop off, our front three are going to have more room to run at the defence.
