The calls to drop Andy are for the biggest game of the year, against the toughest opponent in the league, which could decide the title. He's still trying to get up to speed and unfortunately his performance yesterday, especially in the first half was shockingly poor. If we were playing Man City, we would have been down 3 or 4 to nil with Foden/Walker exploiting that space and his mis-timed solo pressing attempts.
I imagine with Robbo playing all 90 that's he's not in line to start, but if he does he's going to have to be a lot smarter than he was yesterday. This isn't the game to take risks like he was taking yesterday.
Hopefully, he'll be back to his old self soon as he'll be a big part of our final push this season.
