Love how there was about ten seconds of Emre holding the ball between his legs, then they cut away to show some handbags and when they cut back after he's still clutching the ball to his chest.

He added on 5 minutes during which Germany brought on a sub and Chile had a free kick which took 45 seconds to set up a wall.  He played 5 minutes a 3 seconds.  Something's got to be done about time keeping in footy.

Got MOTM today. His saves won his nation its first ever Confederations Cup. He's also Barcelona's first choice keeper. So yes clearly he's a bit shite.

That spctacular save from Sanchez in added time? You're right, Lev Yashin himself wouldn't have kept that one out. He hardly costs Barcelona many games either because of the vast amounts of goals they score.

He's just dodgy. He mishandled once or twice today and didn't get to a ball that a Chilean player managed to pull back only for someone else to sky over. Seems to always have a clanger in him.

Don't think it needs binning, just needs refining somehow. The problem at the moment very much seems to be the referees rather than the concept.

nah, just needs binning...just because something is technologically possible doesn't mean its a good idea...and this is a twat of an idea....just leave it the way it is, the ref and his whistle

Don't think it needs binning, just needs refining somehow. The problem at the moment very much seems to be the referees rather than the concept.

I don't see how you can refine a replay and a referees brain though. The issue we had tonight was the ref actually viewed a replay and got the decision wrong. That should never happen, if you have the ability to see a replay and get 99 right and 1 wrong then it's still unacceptable. Then you have a situation where someone goes down in the box and the VAR doesn't even have the opportunity to review the situation because the referee hasn't chosen to review it.
