Ghost Recon Breakpoint, solid game but mission system is confusing as hell at first.

Nier Automata, amazing game, glad I now have a chance to play it.

Pokemon Sword, like marmite these games but easy and fun.

Whilst I wait for FF7 remake to arrive next week, thought I'd play Bioshock Infinite again. Such a good game

Bought Breakpoint myself, started it yesterday. It's a little overwhelming at first but I'm really enjoying it now.

Is Ghost Recon Breakpoint better than Wildlands? Personally really enjoyed that, especially after I'd just finished watching Narcos, it was good to play a game going after a cartel.

Mission system much the same, if you enjoyed Wildlands you'll love it

Its quite similar, very stealth based. I do like the fact you can change your settings on the fly, very configurable. Can go immersive with no real help with maps, missions or gear, though I prefer the division style of gear up with gear quality. Think in general reviews are mixed, it was free to play over the weekend so tried it and liked it.

Xbox have a pretty decent one, Fifa 20 for under £25, RDR2 for £27. I bought Titanfall 2 and Doom (2016) just over £10 for both.

I keep buying games right now

I need to stop. Though I did get a load of GAME vouchers for my birthday last month and now seemed as good a time to spend them as any.

Got:
Commandos - Behind Enemy Lines on PC;
Animal Crossing, Civ VI and Two Point Hospital for Switch; and
Watchdogs 2 and Ancestors Humankind Odyssey for PS4
to play.

Recently played through AC Odyssey and Shadow of the Colossus on PS4 and Skyrim and Cuphead on Switch.

Still tempted by Jedi Fallen Order for £30 and Outer Wilds.

Couple of forthcoming Switch titles that looks promising. The Last Campfire and Spiritfarer.

Playing Doom Eternal at the moment. Stunning game, huge upgrade on previous game. Don't think i have felt this high about a shooter since bioshock 2.

Mind you, it did take me awhile to get into

Bought the Bioshock Collection a couple of years ago and never even installed it so finally got around to playing the 1st one. So far it's a great game, stunning setting, creepy but not full of pointless jump scares and just hard enough to be a challenge. Can't wait to play more and then the other 2

Have PS4 and Switch, don’t have tonnes of free time usually so not many games.
Read a Guardian article with 15 of the best long play games.
Immediately bought Metal Gear Solid, God of War and Death Stranding.
That should cheerily keep me busy killing things.

Have just given up on Outer Wilds after not really getting much enjoyment out of it and am now around 5 hours in to Ghost Recon: Wildlands.

I thought about getting Breakpoint as it's newer, but the general consensus seems to be that this (Wildlands) is easily the better out of the two, so I went with this instead.

Having an absolute fuck-ton of fun so far and much like King.Keita, I'm really loving the whole Narcos vibe to the thing. How atmospheric the game world is really helps with that too.

Couldn't get into MGS:The Phantom Pain at all. I felt the exact same way as WhereAngelsPlay in that it bored me stupid. Absolutely loving this though. Oh, and thanks RAWK. I'd forgotten this game even existed until I read this page and having fuck all else to do due to bastard COVID19 thought "why not?"

One thing I would say to anybody playing this game is this: turn as many of the markers and HUD stuff off as you can live with. It makes it a much better, more realistic and atmospheric game as well as a more fun challenge.

EDIT: just discovered that Breakpoint has no AI teammates. Another bizarre decision from Ubisoft. Deffo dlad I got Wildlands now.

a great game that has aged gracefully. I still play it from time to time.

Currently playing Rome 2 Total War (getting my ass kicked) and XCOM 2 (really getting my ass kicked)

Playing a *lot* more now with not being able to go out etc. So been playing Fary cry 4 on the PS4, and with friends on a Minecraft Server on PC, vanilla though this time instead of modded.

Think the story is marginally poorer than the third instalment of Far Cry, but the gameplay is much better and really loving it in general.

Also been playing a ton of board games on TTS with friends, and Jackbox with various groups on streams.

Had a try of Surviving the Aftermath (PC version). It's only a fiver (£10 off) on the Epic Store. Pretty derivative survival management game still in early access. Post-apocalypse little town builder with a world map - Surviving Mars with bits stolen from Frostpunk. Aesthetic isn't quite as striking as either, and that is one of the real pulls for both, but it's competently done and can see where they're headed with it. Few minor animation clipping issues and menus vanishing off out of reach but perfectly playable for a few hours in spite of them.

Bought, and completed, Resident Evil 3 yesterday, took me a whopping 6 hours and I'm not the world's best gamer. Some people have completed a speed run in less than an hour. It's enjoyable enough, but not a patch on Resident Evil 2. I haven't played the multiplayer yet, hopefully there's enough there to make the purchase remotely worth it.

I missed Resident Evil 2 complete edition in the PS4 store last month and am regretting it (not really but sort of, am new to PS4 and already have hoarded a backlog of great looking games).

Although I think normal Resident evil 2 version is going cheap now - is there much of a diffference?

Finished Day of the Tentacle Remastered yesterday. I’m more of a Monkey Island guy, but DOTT is the best game I’ve played in a while. Brilliant from start to finish.

Is division 2 a game you can play coop with a mate? Sure i saw that in a list of good games for this (got a mate in long term shielding, so want to find a good game we can dig into)

I don't know what other games you've played or considered but Borderlands 3 and Destiny 2 are two others that are very co-op orientated.

If you're looking into Borderlands, maybe get the Handsome Collection, which is BL2 and the Pre-Sequel bundled together. BL2 is top notch and really fun in multiplayer (as are all the BL games, but this is the best one).

Cant argue with that, BL2 is still one of my all time favourites
