Basically yeah. Although I logged on at around 7:50 after what happened on Fridays sale, had a 20 minute wait, which is now currently a 43 minute wait. So I'd say whoever got on must have been on at 7:30 or earlier

Did you need the hallmap link or straight in once through the queue?

I guess we’ll all be queuing as soon as the queue starts from now. Like peasants queuing for bread!

hallmap link give you an advantage because you could pick tickets soon as they loaded, if you are on the main page you are essentially a loading page behind

Ha, just nabbed one in Lower Kenny. Wonder if there are a lot of old boys returning tickets because of the Queen. Don’t normally get this many for CL.

So... in summary

Club confirmed the sale about 8.10am

Club didnt put a pre-queue up, so everyone who entered the site between 7.45 and 7.50 got about a 15-20 min queue so go in just before 8.15am and could stay in, those with the hallmap link could get past the sold out button and be in the site, sat refreshing at 8.15am on the dot, so when the ground lit up like a christmas tree they were all there for the taking haha

Same as the local on friday, completely fucked it!
Absolute fucking joke.

I was logged in from 7:25am and stayed logged in. it all went yellow and then sold out. Refreshed for 20 mins and managed to bag a pair in the Upper Main. Finally on the ladder and totally made up!

Anyone ever had an error saying "the seats you have chosen have been released unexpectedly. Tickets should be discarded" just got one in basket to be met with that

Is there much point refreshing during the day if there are no returns allowed by the club.

When the number of entrants far surpasses the number of available tickets they should close the site.

Not helped that my internet was cut off this morning either so a shit show all round. Insane that people are basketing in advance of the sale for such an important one. Happy to lose out if it's a fair contest, but not when you log on at 8:05am and it's already over an hour.

Not actually a bypass this time. More a queue that started earlier than advertised. In a perverse way perhaps that’s fairer!

It’s a shambles, not even going to complain anymore because it seems the people who was boxed this morning have no intention of going.

Just going back a few pages, is there something definitive about whether distributing for Ajax uses up one of the ‘free hits’ then? Or is it/was it an issue that the ticket office have now fixed?

it seems they've just messed up the options so some people don't have the distribute option

it definitely was meant to be that the 2 distributions were just for PL games

doesn't impact me enough to contact the TO though

It shouldnt be an option I dont think

But if you have used your 2 hits its not there, or if you didnt have 13+ (and didnt have the 2 free hits) its also not there

I would guess given its LFC web developers we're talking about here... that it will count towards your 2

Thanks mate, I’ll pass that on. It’s for a mate who might not be going, he’s not used any of his free hits yet and has 13+… so guess it could either be an option or not, who knows  ;D

I’ve just forwarded my ticket for tomorrow night to a friend on my F&F list who is not a member but has downloaded the general admission nfc pass. The ticket is showing but is in greyscale rather than usual red font - is that normal?

Mad isn't it? I wonder if all these "circumstances" would crop up at the semi final stage.

For clarity I am going and have to take a half day to get there (and stay over).

Be amazed if people who have forwarded tickets, despite what they say, have retained the credit. When you forward a ticket it's removed from your account and moved to the person you forwarded it to.
Distributing keeps it on your account.

So many people kicking off that they can't attend the odd midweek game but want to retain loyalty for later rounds. Just wrong. Those that have attended all fixtures should get priority which would also reduce the odds for final tickets.

I missed out today because of work. Was all set to go for Fridays sale. Really want to go to the Liverpool rangers game so ended up sucking it up and going for hospitality for it because I knew I wouldn’t be able to buy today and get credit. I guess it will just cut down the number of games I can afford to go to this year massively but not much I can do.

The purchaser of the ticket retains the credit.

So they tell you. But this is contrary to how 'forward' works for PL games where the credit moves with the ticket. The ticket is moved from your account so unless they've got something else behind the scenes then the system won't know that you originally purchased it.
