Guess it'd depend on if that email is to the ticket forwarder or forwardee, it's the former who's broken the rules.

Very good point. I'd hope more has gone to the original purchaser.
I'd expect that email has gone to the person where the ticket currently sits.

Glad to see the Ticket Office being tough, hopefully will make touts think twice about doing it in the future.

Great to see, just seen on twitter the TO at the ground said 4 accounts routed 680 tickets between those 4 accounts alone  needed to be done

I didn't even know that you were able to purchase a cup ticket, forward it on and then purchase another one etc etc. Complete open goal for the touts

It's the scale of these things once it comes out that always shocks me - proper industrial scale touting that!

And whilst better late than never, presumably the TO have been able to see this for years and never bothered tackling it...

I'm worried the turnstiles are gonna be an arse as well if people's tickets have been cancelled and they don't necessarily know.

someone on twitter saying the TO said four cards were used to forward 680 tickets!? lol, surely not?

but in any case, i do feel like there's some possibility some genuine people have been messed over here too (not people paying touts, people with tickets in their name and who are going)

edit: from a browse of twitter there's definitely a few touts impacted, but also a few regular younger people who (naively) probably have arranged some sort of swap for a pair of tickets or whatever

Agreed. Pleased to see the TO taking some steps after what feels like a long time of people "knowing" it's happening. The first step to making it fairer (although like tax changes, no one likes the bit that impacts them)!.

Am I right in saying that there should be a fair few for the last 16 going to all members due to the Anny Road being closed for the group matches?

By the last 16 we should hopefully be up to almost 61k capacity, the attendances for the group stages were 50k so 11k more, obviously the any Upper Tier ACS will need to come out of that but that should still leave a few thousand for all members?

Yes, not 11k more though

Be a few thousand, UEFA allocation is % based, 3k+ in upper are hospo, plus the GA seasies and acs like you said

My account has "Europa League ballot results" listed under my ST waiting list number, haven't seen it before. I'm on the ACS so anyone know what it's about?

Sounds like a phantom ballot for the final. Glad we made it to Dublin 😁

A bit unfair on those not on ACS with full Euro homes for years being in the same sale as someone who just picked up one this season in one of the group games is it not?

Surely staggering the sale a little would be fairer

It’s a guaranteed sale. Bit unfair for the spec, but in’s in and all that.

It is a guaranteed sale, but it is a bit crap that someone with one home from this season is in the same sale as those with more credits.  You wouldn't think it would take too much effort to stagger sale times over a couple of days!!  On the other hand, I suppose if someone has had full homes for years, then you could argue that they've had the chance to join the ACS?

Home cups seems to be one thing where loyalty is rewarded differently compared to PL homes and away games.

Yeah they could of staggered it over a few hours for those with 3 credits to get better spec even if it's a quick 2 hour sale to make it fair for those who a desperate to get a bit lowe in the ground instead of being up with the gods.

They did the same as this for Southampton, but you were put into a non guaranteed sale - even if you had fa cup for years. Then they messed that sale up as well, with rumours people with no credits could buy.

Having the chance to join ACS and passing, shouldn't be you missing out. Some people prefer to sort game by game or may even have missed the deadline for acs registration - there was someone on here who had missed one of the deadlines as on holiday. This is forcing you into the ACS or be dumped from a ladder you have been on for years.

Could say the same about aways not going to 19 first

Homes being 1 sale for all on 13+

ACS for those with 1 or 2 years credits compared to 10

Where do you draw the line? Everyone would draw the line just next to them, so they're in the first sale with best spec

To be fair, if they're that arsed about getting a decent seat then they should have sorted one in the summer when the ACS opened & they had pretty much the pick of the ground

Exactly. I've been on the European homes for years and in ACS. But it's no guarantee the next year.

It should of been 2 from 3 in my opinion!
As it will cause issues for quarter final if we qualify.
That will be definitely reduced allocation due to corporate and away fans taking more tickets.

Looking to pick a Sparta Prague ticket up for a mate when it drops to all members. Will be buying on my account but allocating the ticket to his supporter ID.

Would it just be myself who needs to register their interest? Or would he also need to do it? I'll more than likely be the only one taking part in the sale

They've staggered it in previous seasons- seems odd not to do that here.

All that said, you really should join the ACS if you qualified. We did for the first time this season and the stress of not worrying about a seat for each game is worth its weight in gold.

I don’t approve of this but the system is what it is: can you buy cup tickets and still keep the credit if you don’t scan in?

If you forward the ticket to someone else I know you keep the credit, but what if they end up not going?
