Truly enjoyed his passing today. He holds the ball just a fraction of a second longer and when two player attack him, he passes the ball eliminating both of them.

Surprised to come on RAWK tonight and only see a few posts on his thread. I think slowly making a case as one of the best midfield players in the world.

Proper footballer with great technique and understanding of space. Used his body so well and very mature.

He is the player that I would trust most with a football (Mane a close second), the way he can shield and pirouette out of danger in the midfield is amazing. There was a moment yesterday with 3 players pressing him, and you just knew he would keep it.

Quite so. I was excited when he came and thought he'd be a nice addition as a #10, then Klopp goes and plays him in the deeper role and we win but concede three at Arsenal in his first game and I thought "oh, this could go both ways", but he's really grown into the role he has. Since he's got the background as an attacking midfielder he also is capable of finding gaps going forward too. He's quite a complete player, much in the manner why Didi Hamann was so loved at the club. Not making the most headlines, but always shows up and never has a properly bad game.
