Salah's back heel and nutmeg is going to be worth the watch on the big screen.  Will definitely tune in.

They'll spend more time showing Virgil's back pass and the Watford misses, they'll be some fume and bitterness tonight. Another lucky 3 points for LiVARpool.

The Match of the Day theme tune actually has a decent bass line, not noticed that before.

Ian Wright on, great, like him. As long as Oxygen thief Danny Murphy isn't on.

Genuinely think he thinks it'll be ruled out anyway so why not?

Wow, that was a mad goal from Gosling. Wasn't clear whether it was over the line, looked clearly offside, didn't celebrate than VAR gives the goal! No wonder they celebrated like that.

I know it is pedantic but as a referee back in the eighties I was instructed that on corners the ball should be inside the arc.  You have a linesman standing there these days and the ball is clearly outside the arc and he does nothing. It annoys me sorry!

Who was it that broke a toe by dropping a bottle of aftershave on their foot? Dave Beasant? Ah, here it is, bottle of salad cream it was to severe a tendon:-

Weirdly two keepers have injured themselves dropping glass bottles into their toes. The Spanish keeper Canizares missed the 2002 World Cup after dropping a bottle of aftershave on his foot. The big English lummox Beasant dripped Salad Cream instead.

From my understanding the ball doesn't need to be touching the ground on or inside the arc. Part of the ball can be over the line (similar to to a goal where the whole of the ball needs to cross the goal line).

For me the beauty of this team is the ability to switch gears on demand. We seem to be doing the bare minimum to win games, and only putting the hammer down when we need to. Pundits seem to be flummoxed because it appears we aren’t playing well for periods in games, when actually we are doing exactly what we need to do when we need to do it. Thus saving energy. I’ve seen a lot of comparisons to the 07-09 United team, but I also get a flavour of Mourinho’s 04-06 Chelsea team. It’s a beautiful thing and let them argue over how good we are when the league is won, potentially with a record points total. :)

For years we played well and ended up winning nothing, in the 90's we'd play brilliant football, end to end beating utd, arse, newcastle and a week later lose at home to Coventry.

Actually want Hilal to face us. Work in Saudi currently and I would love a good atmosphere here when it's generally pretty dead for most European matches. A match between a Saudi club and a European Giant could well be fun.

Chelsea v Bournemouth. First of all it was clear as day the ball crossed the line watching it live and if you noticed it, camera cut straight to the linesman waiving and you could see his watch flashing ' GOAL ' :)

Linesman raised the flag as soon as Gosling made the shot. OK the goal was given anyway but would it hurt if he waited a couple of seconds for the end of the effort and then raise it? I know they've been told to do that in these cases instead of elsewhere where they wait for the outcome but still some common sense needed? The play was not in the centre of the field where you can maybe be excused more.

Messi in fact doesn't have a recognizable trait.

I did actually see a linesman in one of our recent games making the player move it onto the arc, so some of them do remember.

They've been doing it quite a lot to create a narrative, selective highlights never reflect the game and it appears the pundits dont actually watch the game from the shite they talk.
