Who was first then? They must have been playing at roughly the same time.

Fachetti started at Inter in 1960, so he probably has the better claim to pioneer the attacking fullback?
Better looking than Samie.

You can't post a video of a modern day player like that and compare him with players from previous eras. Modern players have the benefit of playing with better technique due to rule changes and different playing environments, which the guy in your video plainly demonstrates. Goodness knows why some of the clips were in b&w though.

Seriously though, that's one hell of a player, and a rare example of a player from an ancient era whose technical skills look top notch even compared with the best of today.
"i just dont think (Lucas is) that type of player that Kenny wants"

THIS IS ANFIELD SIGN:
It’s there to remind our lads who they’re playing for and to remind the opposition who they’re playing against! - Bill Shankly

Completely irrelevant to last nights game but I loved that team, Riva, Rivera, Mazzola, Boninsegna. Just happened to love the Brazilian Team even more

Watch them though (and Facchetti) get walloped for that 4th goal

  • They dream about what we've already achieved.
Ox may have done more for 'you' in 5 minutes than Naby did in 55, but that's irrelevant as I see no reason why your view matters. Meanwhile in the real world Naby had a pretty decent first half in a game where the whole team were a bit off anyway.

And that's exactly what I mean about us not having the facts. Maybe Naby's time is still being managed; maybe it had been agreed previously that Ox would replace Naby early in the 2nd; maybe Klopp decided Ox would give something more useful based on the analysis of the first half. We don't know. So how about supporting our players instead of looking for reasons to trash them?

Do you know how daft you sound? You see no reason to why my view matters, I've been watching Liverpool for the best part of the 30 years, I would say I have seen my fair share and can comment on whether someone has performed well or not for 55 minutes. How did he have a decent half? Please explain, because I've even watched the game back and still wouldn't rate his first half better than a 6/10.

Not a chance does Klopp hook a player after 55 minutes if he's trying to manage his game time, a bit of a coincidence isn't it we go 2-1 down in a game he's had pretty much no effect on and he's subbed off straight after. Keita played 83 minutes away at Norwich (9 days before West Ham, so unsure why his game time would need to be managed), a game he was more effective in actually, he was subbed because he was having a poor game, that's not trashing a player that's just being able to admit something instead of wrapping players up in cotton wool all the time. Yeah we're top of the League, yeah we're absolutely fucking brilliant but sometimes our players have poor performances and Monday night for Keita was one of them nights, shame because with the injury to Henderson it could of been a game for him to have laid a marker down but he didn't.

We seem to have this extra gear we're capable of hitting. While I wasn't 100% sure we'd get the win, the amount of pressure we put on them when they took the lead made me feel comfortable we'd score at least one.

I’m sure there must be a subtle tactical change but one I can’t figure out!
