Considers taking the piss out of the 'he's finished' brigade ;D

Give the man a 3 year contract.  Actually, he can go on for 4-5 more years with his touch, skill and confidence.

Fantastic revival by Bobby, completely unexpected in terms of scoring given the last few seasons but delighted, hope it continues. If this is his last year, then hopefully he ends it well.

It’s probably no coincidence he played the 14th fewest minutes last season and has started the season looking one of the freshest.

Brought back the years today. Perhaps playing for a contract is driving him on like it did for Salah last season. I like many have perhaps written him off to early

We should keep him.

Disagree, think he's on one of his scoring hot streaks, but his overall game isn't what it was and he's not the same pressing monster of 5 years ago.  He gave the ball away too much today, simple passes going astray, and he's not going to keep up this scoring form, we've seen it before.

A lovely footballer, so cool on the ball.

Someone previously pointed out he didn’t play as many minutes as the others last season and it’s showing.

This is the probably correct but watching him do a very good 17/18 tribute act tonight made me more confused why we decided not to try find someone who could be the next Firmino and instead go after a #9 who’s literally the complete opposite.

That cheeky assist for Nunez was pure Bobby.

Looks like he wants to be on the plane for Qatar, which is good for us as he's playing brilliantly.

Can't see who we can get that'd be a replacement and what he brings to the squad. I wouldn't bemoan it although countless others would.

Fell out of our starting 11 last year and also the Brazil squad and got a proper summer break having been run into the ground for a couple of years. Looks like he's benefiting from all of that and it's very I'd imagine it's going to be very tempting to offer him a 1 year extension.

The Firmaissance continues.
It's not catching on.

He's a special talent. He's infectious. I think others have pointed out he seems to have lost the ability to put in the workrate of his prime, but he can do things with a ball others can't even dream of .
Definitely one for my legends team.

Bobby has been criticized for not scoring goals. Those that did that wouldn't hear about what Bobby brings to the team.

Bobby is now scoring goals. So, to find the negative, they point to loss of pace, not pressing.

Bobby can't win with some of his critics.

He just impresses Jurgen and his teammates. Those are the ones who count.
