My mate had Annie Power at C'ham and Arctic Fire today.

Not happy with Ruby.

If your mate is unhappy with the jockey in both instances he's clearly an idiot.
It's true to say that if Shankly had told us to invade Poland we'd be queuing up 10 deep all the way from Anfield to the Pier Head.

Two EW bets on the two favourites should see some return.

Call the Cops yesterday at 13/2 E/W would help rescue the day somewhat.

Also backed Taglietellie at 15/2 and 8s

Well I'd have preferred Call the cops but can't complain with that really, not been my day at all but walking out of it with only a few bruises.

Has anybody started drawing up a list for the big one, tomorrow?

I've got myself a "shortlist" of 6 or 7, but will try to get it down to 3 or 4.

Main two picks are Rocky Creek and Saint Are.

But I will definitely be backing Rocky Creek as well, think he's got a huge chance.

I had a list of about 10, 2 didn't make the cut and 6 have been baccked, will post them later.

Bets for today

1.40 Pearl Swan 10/1  Dane King 12/1 and small bit on Mijhaar at 20s all e/w
2.15 Glingerburn 2/1
2.50 Irish Cavalier 11/1 and Carole's Destrier 7/1 both e/w (Counting on Saphir to fuck up his jumping, otherwise he will win, can see his stablemate Irish Saint going well though)
3.25 Champagne Fever 10/3 win and Al Ferof 6/1 E/W (Considering a Combination Tricast with Don Cossack)
4.05 Standing Ovation 14/1 Ruben Cotter 10/1 Monetaire 10/1 Rajdhani Express 10/1 all E/W  (5 places, so got carried away)
4.40 Roi Des Francs 6/1 E/W There will be a 20p Rule 4 because of Minella Rocco.
5.15 Barters Hill 7/1 E/W
