Letting the pot grow, they are a tenner a man per race, £100 bank. They joined at the start of February and think they are in dreamland. My son said a big boss came in and said he sensed a real happy atmosphere in the building. Their boss said I think it's down to Billy Liddell
Some want to raise the bet to £20, Christ I would be £50 a bet if that happened..
Goldsmith is 11/10 now
There are many ways to approach possible bet increases. The best one is to wager as a proportion of your bankroll. So, if your bankroll is say £1,000 and you have a 50-unit bank at £20 a bet, you don't increase until a stage where the bankroll hits a certain limit. What that limit is depends on you. You might go to £22 if it reaches £1100, or wait to £1,250 for £25 bets or even £1,500 for £30 bets. Another option is to stake the same until the end of a calendar month. Then, check your bankroll and decide on the next month's stake. However, the number of units WITHIN the bank should remain the same IMO. It's always better to increase the number of units to safeguard against bad spells.
If the bankroll doubles (well done first of all), you can decide to take out half and revert to your previous wagering size and bankroll and you'll have eliminated all risk. Or, you could crack on and try to compound higher and higher.
A BAD idea is to get carried away and massively increase your stakes too early. Bad runs can and will happen, and if you increase your stake size too quickly and the bad run happens in the midst of it, you'll end up losing far more than if you go down the more sensible route. In fact, you could have a situation where you're in the red despite the system itself being in the black.
