Princely Conn in the next for me too.

Ballyglasheen overpriced at 80/1.

It's fate!

That last race has perked my interest in Out Sam in the 2:40. If all Henderson's novice hurdlers are that good, this one seems good value at 14/1. All the write ups say it has lots of scope to improve.

Sorry mate had that copied and pasted before I spotted it.

I'd probably do Black Hercules and Peace and Co in a double.

1 down...

That will do, everyone bar Princely Conn in the places.

Got to say I am frustrated though, I was looking at Wicklow Brave but thought nah, it pulled up last time, can't be trusted.

Black Hercules on at 4/1 E/W and Thomas Brown E/W 14/1

Definitely Red looks a danger.

Black Hercules was abysmal.

Not confident about my main festival bet, paint the cloud.  Didn't want soft ground, but it definitely doesn't look good ground, looks like it's cutting up a lot, on the soft side.

Bodes well for many clouds in the gold cup though.

What's going to like this soft/heavy ground in the Gold Cup then?

I'm not quite sure on Silviniaco Conti up the hill. They say he's a stayer but I'm not quite sure at Cheltenham. Many Clouds will love the conditions, he doesn't have the class of Silviniaco Conti (a horse I genuinely like) but he is very tough and will relish the going.

Many Clouds for me.

Watched last years race a few times, especially as I backed the winner and to be honest I don't think it was a matter of not handling the hill, it looked like he was spooked as he quite sharply hanged along with Bobs Worth and after that he seemed to come back again. Plus with the cheekpieces on, I think he will at the very least be right there.

Many Clouds and Coneygree are big dangers and to be fair Djakadam won well in similar conditions last time so wouldn't rule him out at all.

Houblon Des Obeaux is a great price.

I've gone Many Clouds and Djakadam win. Many Clouds has good form, course winner, stays, will like the conditions.

Djakadam, purely because it's Mullins and I think with the festival he's having that it could be fate.

Reverse forecast on the two. Smad Place chucked in for combo tricast too. Will like the softer ground, and always tends to run well at Cheltenham.

Silviniaco Conti is a top class horse, but doesn't strike me as an out and out battler, which I think might be needed today.

Jim Culloty strikes me as a bit of a prick. No particular reason why I think that, but he just does. Maybe it's because he treats every other race with contempt in regards to Lord Windamere and just wants to win this one.

I'd love Holywell to win, was my antepost fancy. Not happy with the rain but he has won on soft so we will see.

Conti, Many Clouds or Holywell I'd be happiest with, in that order, I had to get on Djakadam, just cos of Willie Mullins.
