Yes, that's fine, as Rummenigge was only valid under rule [9].

Sorry mate, you may have to re-pick RE: Emlyn Hughes [5].

[Rule 5 - won a cup final against your last player]

This does not include one-off annual games (like the Supercoppa Italiana or Charity Shield)

Only a final game in a cup/tournament...  :-X

Quick Question - Can Phil Neal work as a Wing Back or I'm better of changing the formation??

Even I believe that but don't know if his defensive solidarity and relative lack of flair might count against him in wing back position.....  ;D

Carlos Alberto would have been ideal! ;)

I usually don't trust South American defenders, but wasn't going to pass on him.

In Neal and Breitner though you are very safe on the flanks - very hard to beat one-on-one.

His squad number (#4) was a great trump card to get back to the modern era too. Didn't want to be trapped in the 1960's Brazilian leagues...  :-\

I can't find any left wingers worth while. Genuinly considering going for an outrageous decision and plonking Kopa on the left....

As a competitor: yeah play Kopa on the left wing...

As a friend: there are many 'leftie' options for your last pick Cabrini!

[Left-sided seconda-punta for Juve's famous 80's side.]

As I have said in a few drafts, Italy is a massive weakness for me. I hardly watch it now, and have never really looked into the older players, before I had Juve in the previous draft. Found Boniek earlier, but I passed over him a bit as I remember him playing in several different places. Had that PM not come in, I wouldn't have even considered him, and would probably have gone with a goalie to buy me some more time.

It's inspired by new formation though!

Found this draft really enjoyable but just had no time to spend planning/researching which has left me with probably the weakest team :D But just to say thanks to NICHOLLS, it's been a good one, just wish I'd had more time to invest in it.

That's a 5 star team! One of the best diamonds for sure!

My only reservations would be Lúcio and Irwin in an All-Time sense on paper (but then again, on the pitch, Irwin is the best full-back to ever play for Manchester United and Lúcio was a rock in Japan in 2002, and the defensive bedrock of Mourinho's Treble-winning Inter side alongside Samuel).
