No. They just made good tunes.

Most ravers back in the day either had some bird rub vapour rub on their backs or onto their chest when they where off their head on pills. The sensation from the vapour rub being rubbed into you would make you have what was called a 'rush'. It's hard to explain what it was like really unless you have experienced it yourself. It was like an cold chill that would pulse through your body that would help bring your pill on a bit more. Vapour rub never made you high though. That was a job for pills, whizz and poppers.
