Just wondering if they are any reds on Rawk who had to deal with the bitters daily during those all conquering imperious sides of 77 78 81 84 86 and 88,were they the same as those on GoT saying they had the better team during those years. 
I was around back then. I've said it on here before and will say it again. Even when we were sweeping aside all before us those delusionals in blue were still claiming they were superior. We were simply lucky, got the rub of the green etc... They were always unlucky and full of excuses. If onlys and could have, should haves were the order of the blue day just as they are today. I've never seen a club take so little responsibility for their own abject failure as Everton FC.
Salford were exactly the same back then. Green with envy because they thought we had what they felt they should have had. They always felt they had superior squad, Individual players too. Only difference is Salford eventually took some personal responsibility and got their shit together. Everton, on the other hand, are still consumed with bitterness and blame all but themselves for their malaise and continual abject failure.
Anyway, yes, bitters were just as blinkered and delusional back in our glory decades as they are today. Only difference for me is they had Scouse loyalty back then, but have very little of that today.
