Rumours going around that the stadium won't be completed until March

Honestly wouldn't surprise me.

They'd be better just sacking this season off, playing at Wembley, and getting the thing built properly and finished before opening it next season.

If true that's one hell of an over run and makes you wonder whether the original deadline was realistic.

It isn't just Spurs that this affects either, the delay to Crossrail is due to Spurs employing a lot more sparkies than needed leaving other London projects to not have any because Spurs are paying more than everyone else. Its horrendous planning and will probably force the price to rocket too, which isn't exactly a bad thing if they're hamstrung for a long time paying it off.

Good for the Sparkies. Its not often in life you get to play 2 huge projects against each other for better pay. Also, as a northerner who has to try to use the rail system up here, I'll admit to being supremely bitter about the money invested in London transport systems at the expense of the rest of the country, so up the Spurs too!

(Although I do feel for anyone trying to use Southern trains, I've heard horror stories from mates in London about them. Almost as bad as fucking northern!)

Is it wishful thinking to suggest these delays combined with a couple more bad results could cast a big cloud over the club and see their final league position suffer?

At this rate they should name it "Home of Everton FC" since it doesn't seem to exist yet.

They should be docked points. Set a precedent for any other clubs building new stadiums to ensure they have better plans in place.

I disagree, points deduction would be ridiculous. They should however be forced to compensate every fan of every club who is out of pocket from the ground shifts. To be honest, that shouldn't be forced upon them, they should have bloody well done that in the first place

They should be docked because they lied & they knowingly asked the rest of the league to vote off the back of that lie.

Never understood why Dier gets picked in a premier league team. He is a truly awful player. Loved watching Gini make a fool of him today.

Spurs had nothing. Such a comfortable win for us.

From winning the league at United 3 games ago, to this.

Spurs fans will incessantly whinge about not getting a peno, but they should be more concerned as to how poor they where made to look. They had nothing, and Kane looks like he's running in mud.

No surprise there. Looked tired/injured at the WC and Pochettino was always going to throw him back in straightaway regardless. I thought he'd be run into the ground by late November. Might be earlier than that.

Nice of Spurs fans to clear the stadium ten minutes from the end. Good practice for them when they move into their new stadium.
