Not just trainers mate, they are strict on denim with only dark and no 'fashion denim' as they put it, and they want a top with a collar on it, so no football shirts and no t-shirts.

Fucking shocking.

I've heard differently Craig. Perhaps they loosened the regulations but I've heard its not football shirts that are banned per se but only collarless ones.

For example, the 2012-2013 home shirts are okay because they have a collar but this year's are not.

Strange I must admit.
Quote from: Dion Fanning

The chants for Kenny Dalglish that were heard again on Wednesday do not necessarily mean that the fans see him as the saviour. This is not Newcastle, longing for the return of Kevin Keegan. Simply, Dalglish represents everything Hodgson is not and, in fairness, everything Hodgson could or would not hope to be.

With assurances from LFC fans that flags will not be used during the game (only before and after), decision has been reviewed and announcement made by Steve Parrish that flags are now allowed.

They're still enforcing the no trainers, 'fashion denim' and collar rule though by the sounds of it.

EDIT - @jooney, yeah I've heard a few are thinking along the lines of trying to wear a footy shirt with a collar to get round it, suppose will have to see on the day if can try to use that.

Lets make body shapes to sign out our banners

MAKE US DREAM - should take no more than 17.5 people to sign out by my reckoning.

To be fair, all Sunday games should follow Palace's lead and insist on best suit & tie, shiny black shoes and if you must sing only sings hymns and carols at Christmas.

Maybe if it really catches on they could have an airship filming the Cup Final.

Everton won't want the black shoe regulation though and I can understand their point of view too.

I admire the proper nightclub standards. Surprised nobody caught on to what's really happening here. It is the management of the club trying to tell Pulis to dress correctly as a manager.

Everyone going should take a sheet of white paper and a sheet of red paper. Sort it out between yourselves at the match and create a mosaic saying "THIS IS NOT A FLAG", then switch to "MAKE US DREAM". Easy  8)

Was sent out on their official press release but the banner/flag issue seems to of got all the coverage which is a bit surprising but I suppose is the one to get the fan's backs up most.
