How about players that have received some form of individual award at the World Cup?

How about a blind auction draft?

A list of players is listed for each round, all with minimum fee retainers.  Everyone places one bid via pm to the organiser from their overall budget.  If you bid the most, you get the player.  If you miss, tough luck.

The draft I had in mind was blind auction as well, Prof. But, I will be a bit busy in the next couple of weeks. So, couldn't organize it. Still feel we should have a normal draft and then the blind auction draft. Regarding the normal draft:-

Two Players Per Decade. [The Date Of Birth]

Like you can't have more than two players who were born in seventies.
A Liverbird upon my chest, we are the men of Shankly's best. A team that plays the Liverpool way, and wins the championship in May.

Think a normal draft is a good idea for now too. This one looks good.

Yes that sounds like a decent idea. All players are up for grabs and there is a decent enough restriction imposed on the picks.

Looks like the quarters will be the end of the line for me. A big thanks to blurred for organizing this, it's been great.

Count me in for the next draft too. I love the decades idea but the auction draft would also be fun. Happy to help out in organizing it if needed.

Lazio would be preparing to file a lawsuit against you now that you've brought that up.

I don't know man you're up for organising though yeah?

We need one more player. If we go with the DECADES DRAFT then Prof can't play as he would prefer the 24 hour Sheep draft to get around his job and what not.  If we go with the SHEEP AUCTION DRAFT that would be ideal for Prof but Betty can't play.  ;D

Curling is the best bit of winter Olympics.

I played indoor non-ice curling with my flat mates at uni.  It involved using mini pool balls, a mop and dust pan and brush.  Hours of entertainment and world title matches  ;D

Then, at a job I had in the wetherspoons in Liverpool, we played beer barrell curling in one of the cellars with all the empty barrels.  That was epic.   8)
