Sounds good, it's looking like we'll have at least both Matip and Coutinho back for United. Klopp said Sturridge's injury wasn't too bad, and let's hope Henderson can recover in time as well. It'll be fantastic to have them all back for that one.

Klopp's press conference for Plymouth:

It wouldn't be the biggest surprise to see Gomez in the line up
Milner out with a slight calf problem
Sturridge hasn't trained since Sunderland - but there was definitely no foul...(sarcasm)
Coutinho and Matip making progress but won't play this weekend
No mention on Henderson

Bit of a blow that Coutinho is not in this starting to wonder if he will be back in time for United.

Probably not, seems to be some sort of rule that we are never allowed to field our strongest team at Old Trafford (and we cant anyway because of Mane). Aguero seems to miss loads of games v them as well but always plays v us.

You mean the Aguero who has scored eight times in a derby and played in at least nine? What's this rule about us not being allowed to field our best team at Old Trafford about?

Knew someone would be a picky fucker and no surprise it's my woolyback stalker. I never said Aguero misses every game against them did I? I said he seems to miss loads v them like the league game at Old Trafford this season and the league game at Old Trafford last season for example.

And my other bit was about it seeming like we never get to field our strongest team there. Last season we went there without Coutinho, Sturridge and Henderson in the league. Year before it was Sturridge. This year it's Mane and we'll see who else. I didn't actually mean there is an official rule at Premier League HQ. Hope that clears it up for you.

Sturridge training is good.

Just hope Milner and Henderson make it. It's not long now.

Klopp sounded like he wasn't going to risk Milner for Sunday so it sounds like he'll be OK for United.

Nothing mentioned on Henderson, maybe later in the embargoed press. Key player for the United game and I really hope he makes it.

Matip and Grujic have returned to training according to the Echo, Henderson back on Thursday. Both Milner and Coutinho in the squad for the Southampton game:

http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/lfc-transfers-klopp-press-conference-12424130

We should be pretty much back to full strength soon with only Ings as a long term injured player. It will be a big injection of quality into the starting 11 and improve the strength of the bench too, can only be good with the number of fixtures this month.

What are the rules for using players during a cup replay (I'm sure they are a bit contrived)? I wondered whether Grujic could get a few minutes despite being injured for the first game?

If he has been registered to play as a squad player it doesn't matter if he has been injured or not. Not that it matters, because I don't believe he'll even be in the squad given his length of time out.

Maybe Henderson (and Matip perhaps) will have a more intense one to try and get him as sharp as possible if he's to play on Sunday? Legit think our season could swing on his availability for that match.

I suspect the heel injury Henderson has is plantar fasciitis flaring up again in which case more sessions will only cause it to flair up anymore. I think we need to just limit his work and manage his work load over the next couple of months, hopefully it settles and he can kick it once in for all over summer.

No it's the heel.  The other ankle, but that's not uncommon it seems.

Given the pain he was in, I can't see what else it could be.

I haven't seen any news, but given he finished the match against southampton despite hurting his ribs/abdomen i imagine he'll be ready to go for sunderland after 10 days rest. maybe i'm being optimistic
