Klopp's press conference for Plymouth:It wouldn't be the biggest surprise to see Gomez in the line upMilner out with a slight calf problem Sturridge hasn't trained since Sunderland - but there was definitely no foul...(sarcasm)Coutinho and Matip making progress but won't play this weekendNo mention on Henderson
yer ma should have called you Paolo Zico Gerry Socrates HELLRAZOR
Bit of a blow that Coutinho is not in this starting to wonder if he will be back in time for United.
Wheres Grujic?
Shut the fuck up and put some respek on Lucas name playboy
Probably not, seems to be some sort of rule that we are never allowed to field our strongest team at Old Trafford (and we cant anyway because of Mane). Aguero seems to miss loads of games v them as well but always plays v us.
You mean the Aguero who has scored eight times in a derby and played in at least nine? What's this rule about us not being allowed to field our best team at Old Trafford about?
Knew someone would be a picky fucker and no surprise it's my woolyback stalker.
I never said Aguero misses every game against them did I? I said he seems to miss loads v them like the league game at Old Trafford this season and the league game at Old Trafford last season for example.
And my other bit was about it seeming like we never get to field our strongest team there. Last season we went there without Coutinho, Sturridge and Henderson in the league. Year before it was Sturridge. This year it's Mane and we'll see who else. I didn't actually mean there is an official rule at Premier League HQ. Hope that clears it up for you.
I keep forgetting about Grujic, was quietly impressed with him in pre season. Will be like a new signing when he gets back, does anyone know his actual injury?
It's a tendon injury.
Imagine Phil will play some part on Wednesday. Sturridge training is good. Just hope Milner and Henderson make it. It's not long now.
Think he's been injured
Klopp thinks Hendo should be back for the Utd game.https://twitter.com/livecholfc/status/817499487790841856
Is Marko Grujić still injured?
What are the rules for using players during a cup replay (I'm sure they are a bit contrived)? I wondered whether Grujic could get a few minutes despite being injured for the first game?
Literally the post above yours has an update on him
What about Gomez mate? When's he back?
Do we have a full training session on the Saturday since the match is late afternoon on Sunday, and isn't much further to travel than a home game?
im sure they train. not sure of the intensity
thats a very bizarre rule! There is precedence... who can forget the Ibe cup tie rule!
It'll be extremely light if they do train the day before the game. It'll be tactics and set pieces only.
Maybe Henderson (and Matip perhaps) will have a more intense one to try and get him as sharp as possible if he's to play on Sunday? Legit think our season could swing on his availability for that match.
He hadn't played as if he was on fire, more the slight breeze cutting across New Brighton on a summer's day than El Nino, the force of nature.
I suspect the heel injury Henderson has is plantar fasciitis flaring up again in which case more sessions will only cause it to flair up anymore. I think we need to just limit his work and manage his work load over the next couple of months, hopefully it settles and he can kick it once in for all over summer.
Thought it was his ankle and on the different foot to the one with plantar fascitis?
Any updates on Clyne on the Matip situation? Good to see Coutinho back and playing very well.
