Ligue 1 football is of an absolutely dire quality when I watch. Especially Monaco, they're painful to watch. The quality they have and they serve up this dross.

Love Moutinho though. Would be a good January signing for us. We desperately need someone of his quality in central midfield.

I see that Mendy came on as a sub for Marseill and was sent off the very next minute. What happened?

Looking at it today was a harsh red.

Monaco seem to have a bad mix this season of players past it & young players not ready yet. Lemar, Carrillo & Cavaleiro look far too raw for the minutes & roles they are getting.

They were no more entertaining last season, every game was boring. 77 goals in 38 games is pretty poor stuff. They've just equalised, so they obviously heard me!

I'm sure they had a friday night game after travelling to Zenit. Lyon are utter crap either way though

Very happy to see Bordeaux were hammered at home this weekend, the whiny, fall to the ground as if they’ve been shot at little or no contact, crowd the referee, sly foul bunch of snides. Hope they have to endure a thoroughly miserable rest of the season.

Monaco were 5/1 away to Marseille.

3-3 exciting game.

Must be the most boring league in world football now.

Unless PSG win the CL, and thereby elevate interest in French football, and thereby initiate a sugar daddy takeover at another French club, they might as well just hand over the title for the next 5 seasons to PSG.

No one will have more clubs in for them than Dembele this summer.

Rennes have hit the jackpot.

Looks class so far- unreal pace, good touch, can use both feet well and productive. Him and Sane will be in big demand this summer- would be delighted if one would come here- its been so long since we've had a class winger. Will be a big fee for whoever goes for them- each about £35m?

They may well have a fancy newly renovated impressive stadium but my god have Marseille struggled this season with a weak squad (anyone who signs Abou Diaby must be in dire straights) and right on cue following a weekend of demonstrations by the fans they have been put up for sale:

http://www.beinsports.com/france/ligue-1/news/margarita-louis-dreyfus-met-lom-a-vendre/237505

A prime target, in a one horse league, for petro $$ investment.
