I can only assume it's a deliberate design point. It was the first thing I noticed when I saw the home kit - and loads of people have mentioned it since. They must have noticed it when the shirt was created - so maybe they like it?

I got the home shirt last week for my birthday and I assumed I got a faulty one as it just doesn't sit right on your shoulders.

I was hoping it was a faulty one then :(

Mine fits great. Felt weird at first because it's different to the usual fit of a football shirt but it has really grown on me

I like the fact that it's a comfortable fit (not all of us are svelte sportsmen). The shoulders are a bit odd - but it's not a major issue.

I'm sure of the Americans think it's a great quote. Don't know why they thought it was a good idea putting quotes on the new shirts. mind-boggling.

I think it's great that Houllier has a quote on the shirt personally. Tends to go forgotten a lot of the time for all the good he did.

1. The quote is a historical one with significance from Liverpool. It is not made up.

2. The quote is on the inside of the shirt. So unless you eternally subscribe to inside out day, you don't have to be embarrassed walking down the street.

Carry on!  ;)

I think someone needs to teach NB how to tailor properly. The shoulder join on all of our kits is wrong and makes the players look like they're wearing pointy shoulder pads  :o.  How can they get something so basic so wrong?

Players kit and normal replica kit are a different cut. Plus if it does it with you will no doubt depend on your body type given we're all a bit different.

I tried on my size (medium) and I looked like something out of the band Kiss. Couldn't buy it.

Shame because I really like it. The third kit is actually quite nice too.
