Is this our new 3rd kit, or just another mock up?

I really like that and would definitely buy it to go jogging in .... so of course, it will probably end up nothing like this.  ::)

Still no news on the training gear? I'd imagine they're still finishing tying up a sponsor.

They'll be wearing them in like a few days so should probably get a move on ::)

Got to say the new Premier League patches are dreadful, look like they've been designed by a toddler, this is the old design
This is the new design

Why would they want Bungle from Rainbow on the badge?

"Paint the whole world with the Premier League" doesn't have much of a ring to it - even if that's their ultimate aim

Personally like the new badges. A much more simplier and minimalistic design with no Sponsor plastered on it or an odd shape

Yes, which will mean even more people calling it the "EPL". They just want to annoy us.

Don't know why they did away with 'The Premiership' always sounded better imo.

Unless it was itv that soured the term in a footballing context.

Looks orange that training stuff.

Yip.

Same with the home kit to be honest, more orange than red. NewBalance do my head in because they always get really close to a great kit or a great training top or whatever then they ruin it by making it a ridiculous colour or putting a stupid pattern or squiggly line on it somewhere. Always looks cheap when you compare it to Nike/Adidas.

Only ever bought the training gear since warrior and new balance taken over as it was usually nicer than the kits, but won't be buying any of the new training gear it's horrible along with the kits.

Roll on the day we go back to Adidas or go with Nike, puma aslong as its a good deal of course.

That is why we're with New Balance/Warrior in the first place. They offered us more money. Adidas, the fuckers wanted to reduce the amount they were paying us.  Also with those two we'd get a template design anyway. At least NB think slightly diffretly.

Yeah i knew Adidas tried to fuck us over but I'd rather have them or Nike, Puma than the cheap looking warrior/new balance kits over the last few years if the same money was on the table.

But if it means more money for the club then New Balance it is.

The pattern on that shirt looks like one of those pictures you stare at, a Autostereogram and you see something, maybe if you look hard enough you can see Colin pascoe in his shorts.

Agree with this. These kit designers generally tend to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They must all get together, come up with a lovely, classy design then get their heads together to see who can then fuck it up the most. The one who one who manages to mess it up best gets a bonus.

I know it must be difficult to come up with something different but classy each season, but bloody hell, photoshoppers on here come up with far better year on year. I think my dog could do a better job at times.

It's an optical illusion due to it having yellow writing on it. Compare it to last season's kit which had white writings, looks more red.

How long is left on the New Balance deal?

Warrior signed a 6 year deal in 2012 so would end in 2018 but New Balance - who owned Warrior anyway - took over designing/branding on the the kit in 2015. So was that NB just taking over the warrior deal or was their a new deal signed to extend the contact?
