My prediction for this game

I reserve the right to regret this.
'Despite their  cup pedigree - since they've returned to the top flight in 1962 - Everton have, after today's results, once again gone further in the FA Cup than their much vaunted neighbours. For the record it's Everton 23 Liverpool 22  and 7 ties in 52 seasons'

After the dissapointing draw with West Ham last week, really hoping for a confident and professional job for the lads today. Hope Suarez can break his mild goal drought and that we keep another clean sheet.

Also looking forward to the travelling kop today, they're always brilliant but for some reason I think they'll be in a party atmosphere today.... :P

From Guardian.

• In nine their previous meetings with Liverpool in all competitions, Reading have never managed to keep a clean sheet

• Liverpool have been caught offside on more occasions (94) than any other side

• Reading have lost eight games in a row in league and cup, a club record

• Liverpool have won 61% of the matches that Jamie Carragher has played this term and only 14% without him

• Hal Robson-Kanu is the only Reading player to have scored in any of their past six league games

Shite him.
Football without fans is nothing.

We've won 18 titles, 5 European Cups, 7 FA Cups, but today must be the greatest victory of all.

Liverpool have won 61% of the matches that Jamie Carragher has played this term and only 14% without him

14% without him - 1 in 7 ? Surely that cannot be right. I suppose that takes into account the 2 minute cameos that BR gave him when we were winning matches.

The true figure for Carra should be based upon the games he has started surely.

carra played more games in the latter half of the season than then beginning when we were finding our feet. As much as he has played admirably  I don't think the stat is a reflection on his contribution. Thats not knocking him btw

Maybe it's over the last 10 matches that he's played? If it is, then it would be correct to say we've won 60% with him in the side. We've only lost 2 of those 10 matches, too.

Better looking than Samie.

I hope Pogrebnyak doesn't play because he's the type of striker we struggle against. Le Fondre is good technically but I think Agger and Carragher would have the better of him, not sure if they would vs the big Russian.

Interesting. We could get caught playing very narrow in attack where we want them to be pulled wide at the back. It could get very congested. Although Johnson will have a lot of space to get forward if he stays wide instead of cutting inside like against West Ham

You'd have to hope that Sturridge is the target player and Suarez and Coutinho will play off Sturridge - Suarez from the left, Coutinho from the right. Henderson though will be important in keeping them pushed back, so there could be a lot of space for Gerrard to get a few shots off
