'Despite their cup pedigree - since they've returned to the top flight in 1962 - Everton have, after today's results, once again gone further in the FA Cup than their much vaunted neighbours. For the record it's Everton 23 Liverpool 22 and 7 ties in 52 seasons'
And that is why Fitzy is the true GOAT.
• Liverpool have won 61% of the matches that Jamie Carragher has played this term and only 14% without him
We've won 18 titles, 5 European Cups, 7 FA Cups, but today must be the greatest victory of all.

Shortest pre match thread ever?
Liverpool have won 61% of the matches that Jamie Carragher has played this term and only 14% without him14% without him - 1 in 7 ? Surely that cannot be right. I suppose that takes into account the 2 minute cameos that BR gave him when we were winning matches. The true figure for Carra should be based upon the games he has started surely.
carra played more games in the latter half of the season than then beginning when we were finding our feet. As much as he has played admirably I don't think the stat is a reflection on his contribution. Thats not knocking him btw
Quiet in here, personally looking forward to this match. Team in half hour

Interesting. We could get caught playing very narrow in attack where we want them to be pulled wide at the back. It could get very congested. Although Johnson will have a lot of space to get forward if he stays wide instead of cutting inside like against West Ham
