Cheers for the rumoured team though it's probably not right as I think bigbear's got the team correct quite a few times this season.

Riena, Johnson, Skrtel, Agger, Downing, Lucas, Allen, Henderson, Gerrard, Sterling, Suarez.

Rumoured.....

Henderson keeps his place :)

I've heard Wisdom is starting.
This team is what is doing the rounds on the tw*tter - I would say any information you have got will be more accurate/trustworthy.

So Johnson LB and Wisdom RB? Is Gerrard playing further forward?

DOn't know mate, I just got told Wisdom was starting right back and I'm pretty sure on that. That aside I wouldn't expect too many changes.

makes more sense with downing being a threat on the right, and wisdom played very well at right back when we dropped enrique (cause he was largely out of form).

really hope wisdom plays ahead of lucas (i dont think lucas is 100%).
did you know that 10 x 2 and 11 x 2 have the same answer?

I realise that Sturridge hasn't played with the first team long enough for a starting birth, but is it possible he could be a sub?

Hi guys... sunderland fan here

Danny Rose is back for us which is a massive boost he sures up the left hand side... our CM weak as is CB (Killa and Carlos Cuellar) so Suarez is going to win it for you if he is on form... i think and correct me if im wrong left wing is your weak side and mcClean and ROse can attack Downing and Stirling

I will be in the away end tonight so hoping for a good game :D

Sturridge can't play:

You're going to have the opportunity to see your teammates in action at Anfield tonight. Unfortunately, you're ineligible to play, which must be quite frustrating. How desperate are you just to get your Liverpool career going now?

I'm so desperate. It's very frustrating not being able to play because the window opened yesterday. I would have loved to have been involved and it's unfortunate I'm not able to, so I'll be watching from the stands, cheering the boys on and hopefully we can get a result.
We have to change from doubter to believer. Now.

He did.... however rose has really hit form and confidence since and is clearly our best outfield player this season... i think RW will be the better side for you tonight

Keep posting analysis like that.

I doubt we'll go with your three at the back. So the CM selection will be key for us. I'd quite like Lucas-Henderson behind Gerrard, or as an outside alternative Lucas-Sahin behind Gerrard. No doubt for me that Gerrard should play. Downing should play as one of the front three, not at LB. I'd give that job to Johnson and play Wisdom RB.

Would really like to see the 4-2-3-1 with more defensive focus for the "2". We'd get to see if we could improve our defensive stability with just a slight change to our system, or if we need to do more drastic changes. Having seen our poor defensive performance vs Stoke, I want to see a more focused defending on set pieces too, but that's really up to our defenders. Wouldn't mind seeing Coates (for many reasons), but I think that's unlikely.

As long as we get Suarez involved, we should win this one.

Assaidi is never been injured, one of the normal Rodgers excuses. wait to see Downing at leftback or BR forcing to play Wisdom when Robinson is available to step in for Enrique and the next press will be excuses by Rodgers.

Wouldn't take any notice of it to be honest.

Sahin needs to prove himself here before running back to Dortmund. A Sahin - Lucas - Suso midfield would bring the best out of Sahin.

It's a shame because Gerrard, Allen or Shelvey aren't going to be dropped.

He's been training (wearing a mask) with the team for at least two weeks now, was on the bench vs Fulham, so I don't think the nose is the problem.

We have 17 players on at least 15 appearances starting or sub, so he's definitely rotating. Only Gerrard has started every league game.
