Kesey, I would be surprised if anyone is silly enough to give you a 90+ rated player for exchange unless that said player improves their XI team.

You will have to accept that you you need to sacrifice in other areas if it is the defence you want to improve, offer a good amount of cash or throw some young players into the deal.

Its a good squad anyway. If he's gonna leave, he should just leave now. Drop him a pm to let you know when he's done, and then apply for them. At least give them a go

@Gerrard Dude it's not that I don't want you to take them over, it's simply that I want to sell the players. Milan have a decent side and if you're quick about joining you might be able to pick up a decent player or two on the cheap. Send over any trash I don't really care.

@Terry I'm going sell Baines to United not because of the bid which is pretty much the same but for the simple reason he has been chasing him for the last couple of weeks. take your pick from anyone else.

From here on in though if anyone wants any of the players, first to bid gets them regardless of the offer. Just to avoid any confusion.

The whole point of having transfers from unmanaged teams disabled is so teams dont get blitzed, and what you're going to do now is go ahead and blitz a team regardless. You've managed that team for 12 matches, put no effort into running them, and now you're just gonna destroy them. Fuck all i can do, but go ahead. You've managed 3 teams in this gameworld in 3 seasons, you hang about, make a shitload of transfers and piss off. I'd hate to see the damage you would of done had transfers from unmaged teams been allowed

Its in everybodys interest in this gameworld, that if the gameworld is gonna be a fairer and more responsible gameworld than the other one, that teams are left in a healthy and competitive state. The whole reason transfers from unmanaged teams is disabled is to insure this. People should just not put bids in on the players

I'd have thought the City cash only offer was more detrimental to the future of the Arsenal squad than a bid that offers comparable players (we're not talking about sending Arsenal some 80 dross in return for 90+ players by the way.)

In simple english....because he's an arsehole. When i started this gameworld, and disabled the transfers from unmanaged teams, one reason to disable transfers from them was to insure that people who joined couldn't go nuts with arsehole behaviour, do damage with transfers and then leave, like most gameworlds in the SM game have had done. But theres always one that slips the net. Its me own fault really. Like i say, he's managed 2 teams already in this world before Arsenal, he has form. I should of known better

Yeah, i get that. The utd manager has sold lots of players and got into the spirit of tranfering players, so the Baines transfer wouldn't really be an issue. If people want to deal with him, offer decent players over in return.

Mate, what use is an Arsenal squad with lots of money and no decent players? You've been one of the main components of the fairer gameworld from the start. I'd rather nobody dealt with them but if you feel you must and need a player, offer a decent player over

I'll scrap the deal but if I wake in the morning to find a squad decimated I won't be best pleased.
He isn't the only player who jumped from one team to another after transfer dealing, I have done some business with him in the past and he is one of the few players who likes to deal.

Except he's not jumping from one team to another, he's leaving the gameworld all together, having left it previously twice already. Its different.

I have done some business with him in the past and he is one of the few players who likes to deal.

Well then deal with him. If you think its acceptable what he's proposing to do with the Arsenal squad, then deal with him

To provide more clarity the offers for Baines from both teams involved players of the same or higher rating moving to Arsenal, ergo once the current manager left any new manager coming in would still have a semblance of a competitive squad.

Offering straight up cash means a weaker squad and any incoming new manager has to try and replace those sold.
Losing 90+ rated players and having a pot of cash and/or lower rated/no potential players absolutely weakens the squad and you know it does.

Cash deal or player swap, it is all the same, I can't do player swaps with unmanaged clubs in the gameworld.

Ask yourself would the new manager swap Baines for Evra or whoever it was you didn't want.
