I'd go with Maxi & Bellamy out wide, Shelvey, Hendo & Gerrard for me in the middle. Give the lad a chance.

Don't care how, or what the score is. As long as we beat them. If we don't, aren't they then above us on the ladder? We can't have that!

Only if they beat us will they go above.

But I'm confident we will smash the fuckers!

we must start a high tempo, press them in their own half, we have failed to do that so many times this season, we can comfortably beat them if we do this i think, got a good feeling for the game, 1-0, 2-0 maybe, if we score we must push on.....its what we have lacked doing this season

As much as I want to see Coates given a run before Carra but not in this one. This has Carra written all over it. We really really need him and Gerrard in this!
I would also go with Gerrard and Spearing in the middle. And if I had one wish about the team I'd wish for Suarez-Carroll-Bellamy up front. Though don't mind seeing Kuyt in this game, these are the games where he shines.

Luckily this game has nothing to do on what form at the moment you are..

Come on!! Can't it be kick-off time already!?! Bring it on to them!

I see what your saying about Carragher but i think we've seen with Skrtel that a decent CB can become great with a bit of confidence and playing a few games in a row. Coates is never going to become the player we want if he is binned after one match in the side.

Besides, after watching the 2 mistakes from Carragher against Arsenal i'm not sure i would actually trust him with this type of game now.

Yeah I know what you mean and I agree that Coates needs a run of games to get some confidence and believe he can be a great CB for years to come. But Liverpool - Everton is just a game that Carra lives for and I can just see him fighting for every ball with his heart and soul. Even though his been making ridiculous errors in last few appearances. Not that I'm questioning Coates heart and fighting spirit :)
That said I don't mind seeing Coates start, I'm sure he would do a proper job! I just have a feeling that Carra is going to be the one pairing Skrtel tonight.

I hope Carroll starts, it's the only way Suárez can get more space, get his job done, and don't take all the stick and kicking by himself (something that frustrates him immediately)

Only Everton could celebrate 10 years of a manager that has done and won nothing for them.

Some of us remember how dismal things looked before he took over so I'd have to disagree with you about him not doing anything for us. He hasn't won anything for us, that much is true, but he's at  least gotten us (more or less) back on track as opposed to the managers before him, who looked more likely to take us down than fight for a place in Europe.

Obligatory formation for the game:

                    Reina

Kelly   Skrtel     Coates     Enrique

                   Spearing
        Henderson     Gerrard
Suarez                           Downing
                   Carroll

Yeah, don't rate Suarez as a striker, I'd prefer him as a wing forward. People blame Carroll for Suarez not finishing, its baffling.

We'll probably see Kuyt and Adam though.

Yeah your right about the bodies in the box but his crosses havnt beaten the first man lately , panics a little bit when he gets to the box needs to just stay calm and pick the easy ball in.
