Spot on, Parker is a good player and going to play the whole 90, Gerrard was never going to play the full game today and they wouldn't want the armband being passed around again like it has been in the past,

So now we've possibly lost our captain for a massive game, a pivotal game, this weekend, thanks to 30 minutes of a pointless fucking friendly, pointlessly played between two club games in 6 days, in which he pointlessly and inexplicably starts.

Awesome.

And people wonder why everyone on here has a pop at the national side.
I trust the King, but if we lose a few more on the trot now - he may have to step aside, and we have to purchase another manager in the middle of the season. If we are relegated, this could be the end of our ambitions to win any title the next 100 years.

Up there with gerrard in istanbul and roy keane in turin.

Frustrating.  Stevie does the right thing and makes himself available for his country.

Stuart Pearce is a twat and in making his play for the position full time plays Stevie coming after 120 minutes on Sunday.  I wish Stevie came up with a sore fucking throat like Rooney did to get out of this match.  I hate fucking friendlies.

Spearing, Hendo, and Adam in the midfield for Saturday's match with Arsenal.  The only thing that will calm me down is if RVP picks up a knock in the second half.

To fuck us around as usual, kenny should have just told pearce he isn't there for selection. Just glad glen came home early but these c*nts have been sending us our players back injured for years. They have treated gerrard like shit for years and yet he still wants to play for them, can't wait for the day when he tells england to do one.
