Doubt he'd want Beckham if he did go there.

Good on him (if true). Will be great to see him with loads of money to spend.

Why I would want Beckham as he will give 100% for the club plus put them on the map.

Good move for Rafa this is if true.

PSG are on the map anyway without him. Plus I doubt Rafa would go for him if he were manager.

Can actually see that happening.

The big question for me is how much time it would take him to make it "his" team and whether PSG's owners are prepared to give that time to him. I'm not too sure about that...

Let's not get too carried away. We're part of the rest of Europe.

Great move for Rafa if true.

Can you imagine a quarter/semi final with us v PSG. Kenny v Rafa, at Anfield.

That atmosphere would probably shake the rest of Liverpool.

PSG are on the map anyway without him. Plus I doubt Rafa would go for him if he were manager.

He may have no say in it, should PSG be chasing Beckham for his brand and revenue streams as opposed to Beckham the footballer, either way its no skin off Rafa's nose.

Be a great place for him if he acquires the sort of mandate he seeks, i.e a brief and budget of which he controls.

Hope he does land a job of this ilk, he's far too good a manager to be out of the game this long already.

How stable is the ownership structure at PSG, I know they have a load of money and Leonardo is the Sporting Director/ DOF, but does anyone who follows French football have more details for me?

I am proper excited about him getting back into the game and desperate for it to work out for him.
I got the Lucas thing wrong. Will be right on Henderson though. Play him RM, play him CM - Not good enough and never will be.

Especially City, their loss? No chance.

2 draws away from still being 100% in the league, breaking all sorts of records in the process, Rafa would not have done as good as Mancini has this season, certainly not better anyway, so no chance is it their loss, their doing superb just as it is.

Champions League? Mancini's tactics for European games are extremely suspect, even at Inter.

Yeah, ignore the fact that they've gotten off to one of the best starts in history, breaking pretty much every record along the way, because 3 or 4 games in Europe.

It's not just City, it's Inter as well. Mancini is fine in the league because he can just unleash these players and they bulldoze everyone but as Rafa already showed, league football isn't as tactical as cup/European football.

Brilliant move both for PSG and for Rafa. He'll achieve unparalleled success there with PSG's strong financial backing, I have absolutely no doubt. Won't be in England either, which is a plus.

Hope he knocks out the Mancs every year while he's in the CL. Would be great fun.

Too late though as the talks will Beckham are way down the line.

Beckham beings revenue and PSG no matter how rich will want extra revenue.

Also Beckham could be his Dirk Kuyt. I don't think Rafa would be fussed if Beckham signed or not.

It's not just City, it's Inter as well. Mancini is fine in the league because he can just unleash these players and they bulldoze everyone but as Rafa already showed, league football isn't as tactical as cup/European football.

But still, it's not their loss, you really think it's their loss for not sacking Mancini, who is top of the league by 5 points, into the semis of another cup and generally playing some of the best attacking football around... For Rafa who, as much as we hate to admit, had a shite season with us towards the end and had a torrid time at Inter.

How is that their loss, it don't make sense, if they did that it'd be one of the weirdest and riskiest moves I've seen for ages.

Torres will deffo be there in no time.

I don't buy into that school of thought, PSG although loaded, will still need to operate within the FFP rules, they don't command huge television and further revenue streams primarily because of the league in which they compete.

PSG money will probably result ultimately in domestic success, but i can't ever envisage them in the near future being able to build a team that can compete with the very best in Europe without a fantastic youth system and astute transfer policy bringing in top quality potential complimented with perhaps 2 or 3 quality established players.

Torres is probably far too expensive for PSG and i don't see the french league being a large enough pull for a player like Torres.

Manchester City's loss.

Not really, no. Mancini's doing fine.

Looks like they're going to win the league and could possibly win another domestic cup or two. Hardly reason to replace him.
