Thought the same - there are no internationals on the Thursday

So he will start than I think...
One thing does need to be said: in the post-Benitez era, there was media-led clamour (but also some politicking going on at the club) to make the club more English; the idea being that the club had lost the very essence of what it means to be ‘Liverpool’. Guillem Ballague 18/11/10

Given Suarez plays Tuesday he's back in a starting slot:

                      Reina
Johnson Carragher Agger Enrique
                Lucas   Adam
        Kuyt    Gerrard  Suarez
                    Carroll

More of a 4-3-3 but all those forwards work hard at closing down and we should get an advantage in the midfield against their 4-4-2. I have a lot of faith in Johnson/Kelly & Enrique providing width but I'd play Kuyt a little deeper to combat Evra & Young.

Thats a good line up, not sure if Johnson will be ready by then though. But everything else is spot on- with Bellamy and Downing to come on towards the end i think we look very strong.

SkySports have started there f*cking mindgames too.

Currently talking shite about how much each of our points have cost the owners. no talk of the fact they have been there 1 year and had to overhaul years of bad ownership. No talk that each of our purchases are in the first year of their contracts and we wont need to outlay any money in many of those positions for years!!!

Just that each of our points have cost more than Citehs/Utds!!!!

I honestly don't know why they still get me angry, but they do.   :butt :butt

Just be happy that SKY only included the transfer fees paid for your players and not the total cost of their wages over the lengths of the contracts (like they have done with city's) or the figures would be even higher.

SKY just don't like comparing apples to apples.

Still gotta wait another 10 days. God dammit. I dont think Gerrard will start, Same as the game against everton with stevie and bellamy coming on with like 25 to play or earlier if its not going our way. One thing for sure they will target Luis. There Wingers are going to be the threat Enrique should be able to cope with the right hand side but the left might be a worry.

Game of the century haha.  Well as anyone who has been to Old Trafford will tell you, it wouldn't really take much of an atmosphere for them to consider it "game of the century" stuff.  If anything it's an achievement for 70,000 people to make so little noise.

If Gerrard plays, I would like him to be flanked by Downing and Suarez rather than Suarez and Kuyt, it gives him more options in attack. Especially since Suarez is more than capable to drop back when defending.

If he doesn't, Kuyt on the right, Suarez on the shoulder of the giant. I know its a big game, but Gerrard & Suarez are very big game players for us too. Saying that, I think the manchester united game has probably come a bit too soon for El Capitan!

Will Johnson be fit? He could make a massive difference in tracking Ashley Young/Nani, but again, throwing him into the deep-end would probably make his injury re-occur. Kelly was ace againt them last year if I recall.

You can't really compare the cost of points until the end of the season when everyone has played everyone and the refereeing performances have *ahem* :-\ "evened themselves out"

The Manc's will always be central to SLY's business plan.  Whilst they are the biggest club, with the biggest fan base and are globally marketed then they will always remain Rupert Murdoch's puppy.
