I have seen them describe a through ball as an example of hoofball. They are clueless and genuinely think you can score 70 goals in 27 goals by just hoofing it.

It's the possession that counts nowadays. Doesn't matter how many you score. You need to win the possession game. Doesn't matter if you win lose or draw. Possesion is the most important stats in football nowadays 

Remember how the used to take the piss out of possession football under Rodgers first season and they still had the cross master "the Moyesiah " at the helm  .

Nah lad, he did that on purpose didn't he so he didn't harm their CL push. He was showing loyalty to the cause before he went there. The minute Bobby went there he knew Barca by the Mersey was were he wanted to be, the sitter was the dead giveaway.

Just on another note, Suarez has 9 assists, Gerrard is closest, also with 9. This shows how often they bypass their midfield. This is mainly due to them being rank average in the middle of the park. they have 2 players up front in Suarez and Sturridge who have made the difference.

That thing about the assists is quite a cunning one as at first glance you could understand the reasoning since Suarez is a striker and Gerrard plays much deeper at the moment, it obviously ignores the fact that Gerrard has only been in that role for a few games now and Suarez drops deep or wide plenty of times to create mismatches or open up space by dragging defenders out of position.

At some point they might get it into their thick heads that to score 70 goals already this season you need players on form and also to be scoring goals in as many ways as possible, whether that's from well-worked team goals, crosses, through balls, set-pieces, individual brilliance, forcing defensive errors or even just plain luck because no single option is going to be effective enough for you to score that many. You only have to look at the variety of ways we scored against swansea at the weekend to see that it's not all about one person or one way of playing even if he have had the foresight to buy quality strikers rather than trying to get by with whatever we could loan from other clubs.

They are probably just jealous that 70 goals is probably more than they have ever scored in a full premier league season let alone after only 27 games.

Tbf the first bit is probably true going by our post match thread yesterday.

And the second is posted by a supporter of a club that hands out singing sheets before games and who argue with eachother in the stands.

Around November/December time, they were all genuinely convinced they were the better team. Staggering. Even some of our own thought there was nothing between us, and i remember making a prediction that they wouldn't be within 6 points of us. Think i was being too soft there because it's going to be double digits.

It's a bad reality check for them. What is transpiring week after week over the last month must hurt that bit more because of that belief that they were the better team. To see us in the conversation for the title, while they're fighting it out for 6/7th, it's all just so beautiful. And next season will be all the more greater, when they'll have to hear that theme being played at our place on midweek nights. We're back in our rightful place. They're going to have to accept it and have to watch us being elite playing with the elite.

To think some of them thought they had a chance to get in the CL too. Haha the small time mongrels will never get the chance to grace the bright lights of the CL. That's just the way it is. They're Everton that's why. It's just not going to happen.

The most notable thing about that forum is how unfunny it is, on most forums you can usually have a few laughs but that one is exceptional for its lack of humour. Just full of dour and bitter lunatics.
