One of the funniest Phoenix Nights moments for me was when they did the pub quiz and played the 'The music intro' round.

They played the opening few bars of the Top Gun theme tune and then stopped the record.

The whole pub carried on singing 'Take my breath away"

funny as fuck :)

If Peter Kay has written the entire 3rd series on his own it'll be shite.
Used to like it but can't watch it any more now Kay has become such a c*nt
This is the only Kay that does it for me, but it will be a full on Catherine Tate script. That dialogue is pitch perfect.

Message from Ted Robbins wife on Facebook following his collapse during last nights performance

Ted Robbins
3 hrs
Hi Judy here. With Ted now in the hospital. He is in some pain due to bruising on his ribs from chest compressions but other than that he is doing well. Ted had rheumatic fever when he was a child which left him with some heart damage so we have always been aware that he would need a routine procedure to correct. We are so incredibly grateful for everyone's support and we would love more than anything to find out who the doctor was out of the audience who have such fantastic treatment. Thanks for all your lovely messages, it's very touching to know he is so loved. He will be fit and healthy again soon. God bless all the NHS staff that are doing such a fantastic job. Xx

Manchester arena have stated that tonights performance will go ahead as planned. No word on what will happen to those who went last night

Eh?

Night before we were eating in Gino's restaurant and a couple of waiters had their picture took with me saying I looked like him.

Coming in here with your ha ha ha-shish.
If I were a linesman, I would execute defenders who applauded my offsides.
