I have the biggest grin on my face after realising he reads RAWK and to see my name posted up on his website. Really happy to know that he must have taken some comfort from our support during the times he was under the greatest pressure.

Rafa if you're reading this I love you man. Thanks for everything.

I've said loads of nice things about him and he hasn't quoted me once.

Rafa, if you're reading this...we're finished.

Yeah, me too. There's a RAWK post from me up there under the 'Liverpool' section, makes me very proud to see it and also hope it helped Rafa seeing support like that after he was sacked.
Rafa Benitez: "I'll always keep in my heart the good times I've had here, the strong and loyal support of the fans in the tough times and the love from Liverpool. I have no words to thank you enough for all these years and I am very proud to say that I was your manager. Thank you so much once more and always remember: You'll never walk alone."

The 5th Benitle   Senor Benitez. What you did for Liverpool FC was amazing.

You stuck by us even while you were being stabbed in the back.
You stood up to Ferguson and Mourinho.
You alerted us to the fact that our owners were not what they claimed to be.
You didn't just start the fight against them, you led it.
You bought some wonderful players.
You fought against the odds, having to raise your own transfer money.
You gave us some amazing nights.
You gave us some amazing days.
You stuck with us, to the detriment of your health, when it would have been easier to leave.
You understood the unique relationship between the manager and the fans.
You acted with dignity, humility and professionalism at all times. You still do despite your awful treatment by the UK press and by the LFC management at the time.

Above all of that, I'll just say, and you'll know what I mean by it and why it's meant as the highest of compliments: You were one of us.
You still are.

Couldn't even add to that. Coupled with the fact he clearly went to the effort to reply to every red who wrote to him. My granddad who supported Bolton has got a card from 4 European Cup winning Phil Neal and he gave it to me and I have one from European Cup winning Rafa Benitez.

YNWA Rafa, in my eyes at least.

We are lucky Kenny came back. Without him I truly believe we would  have been regretting getting rid of Rafa for years to come. I only hope when Kenny gets to the end of the line in 10+ years (hopefully) that we consider Rafa to come back. As the 5th Benitle put it, he's one of us and I think that means so much to the supporters, unlike the likes of Hodgson blaming everyone and anyone for their failures.

Had Rafa not alerted us to the situation with the owners where would we be? He stayed to fight for us and I personally will never forget that. He could have fucked off sharpish to another massive club off the back of 08/09 or even the Athens final in 07, but he stayed with us to help and to over throw the owners. While I am delighted Kenny is back, I do feel sorry for Rafa who was 5 months off getting the support of proper owners.

Sentimental maybe, but I've walked stride for stride with him throughout his tenure, and while he may not know me by name, he's walked stride for stride with and for us.

You'll never walk alone Rafa lad, because you never let us walk alone ourselves.

I very rarely see a player or manager from abroad take to the city the way a scouser does.

Rafa was different in that regard, if you didnt know better you would swear he lived in Liverpool his whole life.

He just loves everything about the club and city. I was very proud to call him our manager.

Im not ashamed to admit i shed tears when he left

Equally I would like to thank the thousands of friends, fans, followers, enthusiasts or the simply curious who have visited the site in the first few days and I hope you continue to do so in the future. We had 768,450 visits to pages on Wednesday, the day of launch, from people in 176 different countries. I don’t need to say any more, the figures say it all. For now, the only thing I want to say is that we will try not to disappoint you in the future.

No wonder the site was struggling, I guess they didn't anticipate the amount of hits they'd receive.

Just seen one of my comments in the Istanbul section, must have been taken from the thread on here.  Boss

In the corridors and changing rooms of Anfield I met many people - the great, the talented, the legendary.  I know that I only met one genius.  He was a small, smiling man with a neatly clipped beard.  His name was Rafael Benitez.

Does anyone know how to get an English RSS feed off of the site?

When I tried the RSS link at the bottom, it's all Spanish articles.  Also, the article addresses are malformed with an extra /web in them.
