Still playing this and really enjoying it! gunzerker is great fun.

Some of the bosses do feel solo unfriendly though. Those constructor bots are a nightmare! Ended up only beating it because it bugged out. Facing a huge stream of constantly spawning robots is tough as hell

Most fun - Salvador or Zero.

Best if you're lacking a little bit of skill - Axton.

My favourite is probably Gaige though.

There were so many incredible weapons in the game and you'll find few better than the Conference Call........but my favourite weapon was actually an E-Tech, the Dahlminator. Combined with the Bee it was incredible.

I'm using some handgun now that is a burst weapon when zoomed in. Shoots out the green poison as well (I really need to learn the correct terms).
I did the early mission that looks for a rare weapon and have 2 purple weapons (an smg and an ar) but prefer the pistol.

Is there a good piece advice for finding the better weapons? I used my shift key to open the chest in Sanctuary but didn't get anything better than I already had. Actually now I come to think about it - that might be where my purple weapons came from.

I'm only about level 9 using the mechromancer.

As far as I could tell, it is totally random. Moxxi usually gives you good ones, and Tiny Tina has that one great pistol, but I found good ones in different places. The least likely places were the vending machines, though even they once in a while have a decent piece. The best were probably drops from enemies.

I'm giving this another play through on PC as I never did all the DLC the first time around on the 360.

Currently level 30ish I think, just taken down Bunk3r. Anyone fancy giving this another go?

Got rid of my 360 about 12 months back for a pittance....regretted it ever since!

Fantastic on PC though and agree defo one of the best of all time!

Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep is the best DLC I've played on BL2, absolutely fucking awesome and funny as fuck!

You get to spank a horse and feed it shiny purple stuff to make it poop guns!

TTAODK is good enough to be a game in it's own right. The DLC for BL2 is what all games should aspire to produce, namely deep, meaningful and worth the money.

I'm looking at you Bungie.

Borderlands is one of the best franchises of all time, even if i couldn't be bothered with the pre sequel

Not really sure what this means? Borderlands was a shooter looter with leveling up long before either of those games were even a twinkle in their creators eye. Great news about the announcement though, loved these games.

That was super awkward with the video messing up and 3 doesn't look too different to 2, but I'm on the hype train. Love me some Borderlands.
