It is far, far more likely that Liverpool would be given that missing Europa League place - but it is impossible to second guess UEFA atm.

There's no way we'll be in the CL because of this, but UEFA have have cocked this up in a grand fashion. They had an opportunity to kick out some of these teams before CL and Europa League qualification began in July and declined. Doubt we'll be in the EL either. Should go to the club with the highest coefficient who were knocked out in both competitions.

I wasn't getting at the OP, glad you brought the topic to my attention. We shouldn't be hoping and wishing for arsenal to lose, if they do they deserve to be out, but we certainly don't deserve to be 'in.' I think we, as Liverpool fans, should be of the, "no thanks, little embarrassing that really, give it Spurs." If it's given to us then fair enough, still embarrassing though.
