What if it was a level head, passionate and knowledgable United fan?

Personally, I think it could work quite well.

Extra episode perhaps.
Shorter, as an introduction into the match against ManU?
Would not want it diluting a regular episode, they're just very good as they are.

Good stuff, again. Well, aside from the gross overrating of Spearing. I wonder why that is? :D

One of them is mates with Spearing's family, so no reality check.

No thanks, keep it Liverpool please. Not interested in what they think even if they are supposedly 'knowledgeable'

Personally, I think it could work quite well.
My initial thought was "why not", but even if he spoke eloquently about the requirements and foundations to building a successful team based on both youth and experience I don't think I could stomach hearing it about them.
I have to admit to not being the best person to advise you though because I hate MU more than Everton, I regard the bitters as insignificant, but I really really fucking despise those c*nts and I'm not interested in anything about them. Soz but I've felt like that since I was 6 without an influence I can point to.

Am I allowed to say I didn't enjoy this episode as much as the previous ones? The stadium discussion went on for too long,  given that no-one really had anything new information to impart.

I wouldn't mind a sensible Man U fan fan contributing either. There are some decent ones (like jonno on the auld arse thread, for example) amongst the knobheads. I live with one and we manage sometimes to have proper discussions about our respective clubs whilst each loathing  the other club with a passion.

On the positive side, I love Andy Heaton's voice..

Nice one, although I wasn't on it this week.

Not for me, personally.

I can see the appeal though to be honest. The 'Spyin' Kop' seems to be popular, for example, and it is interesting to hear how we're viewed by other clubs supporters but as others have mentioned, the main appeal of TAW for me is that it's purely dedicated to Liverpool.

I think you'd lose something if you moved away from that and made it a regular occurrance to have an opposition supporter involved.

Just my own viewpoint though, others might not agree.

Aye, it's a sound idea every now and then, just to add some variety, but wouldn't want it to be a weekly thing.

It wouldn't be, only be for United and Everton, maybe just Everton.

In that case I wouldn't be massively opposed to it, although I can understand why some would be.

Jonnowhite who posts on the Auld arse thread would be a good shout if a Utd fan was used. He's got an amazing respectful knowledge about the game and our history and has a good unbiased opinion on him. Nice guy too.

I actually don't like the idea of having a bluenose or the manc on there at all. It always feels like they are being too nice instead of saying what they normally would. If that makes sense.

Love it, in fact it's one of the few reasons i come on RAWK these days so i can get the link as soon as it's up.

Don't agree with a lot of the opinions (Spearing ahead of Lucas...come on!) but that's what makes it so interesting, keep up the excellent work with both the pods and the content on the site.

I've listened to a few episodes believe it or not. That's largely because I'm a sports journalist myself (by trade, sort of taken a leftfield step career-wise) and so I'm interested in all sorts of sports podcasts and new use of social media, such LFC's official network The Kop. Like to keep an eye on all things football in new media / tech.

Sounds really good too, wouldn't mind a munch on one of Laura's buns.
