Inside Man.
What an amazing first episode. Pretty unexpected plot so far.

The one with David Tennant? One of the stupidest shows I've ever seen.
And if the rain stops, and everything's dry.. she would cry, just so I could drink tears from her eyes.

Always Sunny…

I think I’m on S2E6. It’s ok, funny in parts for me. Not blown away or finding it hysterical. Does it get significantly better? It’s really highly rated, I know.

I didn’t enjoy S1 of Schitts Creek and people on here told me to stick with it and I did and was so grateful. It was brilliant S2 onwards.

I'm a big fan of the show and am rewatching it atm. In my opinion S1 is poor, S2 a mixed bag and it fully hits it stride in S3. If you get to the end of S2 and aren't enjoying it then it might not be for you though.
Loving Everton's business this summer. Here's an early call - they finish above Liverpool this season.

A tiny bit disappointed with the first two episodes, the plot moved at warp speed which has left the setting, for me one of the best parts of each of the first three seasons, sort of unimportant/underdeveloped. Think focusing more on the life of a Muslim populace in a major European city would have been very effective.

Still Fauda, still good, still Nurit  ;), but feels sort of rushed, thrown together...

Watched the first two eps....terrific imo.....breakneck speed but deliberately so.....looking forward to the rest of it

Exactly. Like I get that unrealistic things have to happen in programmes to develop a story and move it along, but Inside Man just takes it way too far. There are about a dozen times when any slightly logical decision would have put an end to everything. It got increasingly difficult for me to suspend my disbelief.

You should stick with it. As with many shows like this, it takes a while to warm to the characters and for it to really hit its stride.

I think it's ok. A bit gentle and not hilarious but it is pretty sharp and well-written with a strong cast. That said, I can see how it's not a hit with a lot of folk.

Community starts as quite a straightforward sitcom, but it's not really until the end of Season 1 that it hits its stride. Then Season 2 is just phenomenal stuff.

The daft thing about Alison's Brie's character in Community is that I think she's meant to be pretty unsuccessful with men and broadly unappealing...or at least certainly not particularly enticing.

I know  ;D I’ve just got to an episode where she says she’s only had sex once and has never properly seen a penis.  There’s suspending disbelief, but that’s taking it too far!

Community's first season doesn't hit it's stride really until episode 9 or so - the fifth episode if the first one it shows signs of how weird it can become (with the scene in the swimming pool) but it does not do it particularly well; episode 7 does it better, but then episode 9 is great.

For my money, from about that point, until the end of season 3, is up there with the greatest runs of episodes of any American show EVER, not just comedies.  So so many all time classics.

Yeah season 2 and 3 are absolutely great. It then suffers a bit with the writing team leaving, and then truly diminishes when Donald Glover departs.

Season 4 was so much worse than season 5/6 though - even post Glover was better than even the peaks of the Gas Leak Year.  Losing Dan as the show runner really, really hurt them.

Natasha Lyonne is brilliant and I enjoyed the first episode but was really disappointed to see it turn into this generation's Murder She Wrote. I dunno it feels like a wasted opportunity with the cast and story to take it in that direction.
